What is the best brand of lash and brow tint?

Question 1
What is the best brand of lash and brow tint?
I’d like to dye my eyelashes black since they’re very light and I wear black mascara. I might do my brows too, I’m not sure yet. The only brand I’ve read reviews on is Roux, which you can get at Sally Beauty Supply. But, does anyone else have any recommendations? I’ve colored brows before at cosmetology school, but not lashes, so I’m a beginner at this.

If you do get them done, first time, it’s best to get thme professionally done as they would be more experienced and know what they are doing.
Eyelash tinting does not hurt, it’s like the way you dye your hair, accept you have a brush, kinda like using mascara.
You can also choose what colour, like midnight blue, usually those who have very light eyes and hair, get them tinted darker, as it stands out more. It brings your eyes out more. i know a girl at my school with blonde hair and she got her eyelashes tinted black, everybody thought it was thick mascara she used, but it was all from the tinting. I say give it a go.
I’m planning to get mine done too.
Question 5
Meeting new people so i want to look my best. Help!?
I’ve already given myself a facial and an eyelash tint. I want to look “natural” so i figure by doing that i wont have to pack on the make-up. Any other ideas? I was thinking about a mani/pedi but my nails are ok anyway. thanks loads!

Question 6
Eyelash tinting?
I have a fair complexion – my eyelashes are so blonde they’re pretty much invisible. I do love make up and mascara is one of my best friends…but it would be nice to run out of the house w/o needing to put on make up in order to give definition to my eyes.
What’s the eyelash tinting process like? Are the results worth the cost or should I just stick to mascara? What type of area do you live in (rural, suburban, urban) and how much do you pay for this service?
I have a great spa nearby which I trust – but it’s pricey and wanted some unbiased opinions before throwing down the cash.
Thanks! And Merry Christmas!

I’ve always wanted to try this for the same reason you do, but I heard there is risk of blindness, and it scared me. I’m not sure how big the risk is.
Question 7
How to get rid of the sty on my eye and what caused it?
Last night I realised I’ve got a small red pimple on my top eyelid which feels like a sty. I was wondering what would have caused this. I’ve been pretty stressed lately so could this be why? But I also had my eyelashes tinted recenlty at a salon so could this have caused it? What is the best way to get rid of it? I also wear contact lenses so its a real pain!
Best Answer – Chosen by Asker
A sty is a plugged oil gland which can be caused by normal skin oil or make-up. The lash tinting could also be a contributing factor. Applying hot packs (hot, wet washcloth) to the area frequently will help it reabsorb. It often takes about a week for these to go away.

Question 8
What color eyebrows look best on red hair?
I naturally have a dark coppery red hair color, but really blonde (nearly transparent) eyebrows and eyelashes. I wear brown mascara, and recently ive been coloring my eyebrows a bit with a blond-ish colored eye pencil. Now I’m considering just getting my eyebrows tinted, because my eyebrows are still really light, and when I sweat (I’m an athlete) my eyebrows turn a little green and become un-natural looking because of the eye pencil. I just want my eyebrows to be visible and natural looking. Any advice on what color to get them tinted?

you might also consider permanent makeup; my gf got this done & it looks good
Question 9
Best sephora products for pale skin?
I have a sephora gift card and need to pick out some products. My skin is very pale and I have brown eyes with black eyebrows/eyelashes and dark brown hair. I want a dewy look, and I’m thinking about laura mercier’s tinted moisturizer. I have uniform skin tone, and when I’ve tried foundations and powders in the past it looks fake. What would look best with my skin? I’m also considering a luminizer or a bronzer. Does anyone know of a good brand? Also, which mascara is best for making my lashes look thicker? Do false eyelashes make a big difference or should I just stick to mascara? Also, I have genetic undereye dark circles, which concealor works the best? I’m going on job interviews what make-up can I wear to look older/more professional?
Best Answer – Chosen by Voters
Sephora dual bronzer is what I use and recommend. It’s about 16 dollars and it has 2 colors in it, so if you get carried way (wait that would be me sometimes
you can tone it back down. I use the Dior Show mascara in black and my lashes look long and dark all day w/o flakes or smudges. That’s 20.00. My dark circles: I have tried every tea bag, home remedy, cheap & expensive product on the market to “reduce, fade, etc……they don’t work so I use minerial camofuleur under my eyes because it”s THE only cover that works, with frozen spoons b4 I put my makeup on. I freeze 2 spoons and use them on my eyes. Sephora doesn’t carry the camoufleur www.makeupartistschoice.com/camoufleur.h…
My puffs and circles are genetic also. Lip Fusion for your lips because it lasts and lasts and gives you a nice pout.
Question 10
What is the best make up in all these categories based on your experience?

My absolute favorite make up is MAC, however it is a little on the pricey side. If you are looking for something that is good, but not to expensive I would go with a brand called Boots. I usually buy it from target, it works great and is very inexpensive

- Foundation: Maybelline Pure Makeup. It’s made with water and not oil so you don’t break out and it still has great coverage.
Eyeshadow: I’ve always found the eyeshadows by Maybelline to be great! They blend well, there are lot’s of colours and creasing doesn’t appear to be an issue!
Eyeliner: Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Colour Definer. It’s an automatic one, so a bonus is no sharpening. It stays on for a long time and if you want a smokey eye it’s perfect for smudging or just as good for a simple line across the lash line!
Mascara (I have short eyelashes): Definitely Glam Eyes Mascara by Rimmel. It has a plastic comb wand which leaves no clumps and it makes your lashes pop! One side of the wand thickens, and the other side lenghthens!
Non-shiney chap stick (preferably flavored lol) can be tinted: Fruit Smoothies by Blistex. You get three to a pack and they smell and taste pretty good. You get a tropical smelling one, a berry, and a melon one. They do go on clear.
Blush: Cover Girl Cheekers. They have a wide varaity of colours and they blend into the skin for a very natural look.
Eyelash Curler: The one I have is a Lacross and it has the soft gel pads instead of plastic metal which I find is waaaay better for my lashes. It gives the lashes a nice curl but without the harsh curled edge.
Lip Liner: I am not a big lipliner fan as it makes me break out along my lip…but whenever I do put some one I like the NYC brand. Great neutral colours and really cheap. I think I paid $1 for mine.

Some of the elf brushes are good but depends on which ones you get, the eyeshadow brush, angled brush, eyeliner brush, and more that i can’t remember are really good. Some of avon brushes are pretty good, but some also shed. Costco brushes are really good and have a great price. Also if you go to micheals and look for paint brushes you can find some really great ones and tons of makeup artists use them as well. hope this helps good luck
