Duo Adhesive, hands down. It’s a great glue and you can use it for false eyelashes, nail art, anything! You can buy it off the MAC website, or at any place like Walmart or Target.

Is lashgrip adhesive good too?

Both of those work the same for me.
· Answerer 2
I think Duo Lash Adhesive is the best out there, all the professional makeup artists use that brand. You can use it to glue other things aside from eyelashes because it won’t irritate the skin.
· Answerer 3
Duo seems to be the best. Revlon Precision Lash Adhesive is pretty good too it’s easier to apply because it has a brush instead of just a squeeze tube.

Just go to wal-mart, they have pack with glue in it. they are like $5 at the max. Make sure when you are applying them that you put a little glue on-more on the outer edges than in the middle. Wave the eyelash for a few seconds to let the glue get tacky. this will make application very easy, your eyes will not get irritated from the glue, and it wont slide around on your eye when you are trying to apply it. Make sure to get as close to the lash line as possible. GOOD LUCK!
Question 9
Which false eyelash adhesive is the best?
I just recently bought a eyelash glue and it didn’t work at all. It sucks because it came in a little jar and it was expensive and yet it doesn’t work. I was just wondering which one is the best and how much, the price. And the price I’m just curious because no matter how much it is I’m still going to get it anyway lol – thank you !

lash duo adhesive (its a tube eye lash glue)….To apply first put on to a piece of paper, then using a toothpick and apply a thin layer to the eye lashes. Let that dry for a couple of seconds until it becomes tacky then apply with tweezers to your eyes.
Price: around $5 from Sally’s Beauty, CVS, etc

Question 10
Help! Can anyone tell me what the best brand for false eyelashes and glue are?
Hey guys, I have a party next week and I was thinking of using false eyelashes to enhance my overall look.
My biggest problem is… when I popped by my neareast Shoppers Drugmart the only brands they carry is Revlon and Quo.
Now all of the things that I read up on the Internet about the best brands are only available in the U.S. except for the ones in Sephora. My question is what brand of false eyelashes should I buy and which brand of glue should I buy? If anyone can answer this soon it will be greatly appreciated. Also they all have to be available in Canada specifically Sephora or Shoppers Drugmart! THANKS VERY MUCH!

Hi, I’m not in canada so I’m not sure what your local stores stock.
The lashes themselves can be synthetic or made from real hair, though how they are put together is more important. You can get the full set, half-set, individual flared pieces (7-14 pieces per eye) or actual individual eyelashes. The individual lashes are great if you want to customize your look, but if it is your first time, it is a LOT of effort and you have to be prepared to be frustrated. The full set generally needs to be trimmed to fit your eyelid, though some sets do not curve completely with your eye, so the edges come unstuck during the night. Your best bet would be the half-sets, (you can also achieve this by cutting full-sets in half) they give you enough lashes for a more dramatic effect yet so easy to apply. Make sure you do get a set with longer lashes on the outer edges which will look glam, but also make sure you don’t overdo it which will make you look like you have moths on your eyes.
The glues, the most commonly sold is a latex glue, which is for temporary application, like jut for the day or for your party. Using this glue also means your lash set is reusuable and can be reapplied everyday if you want to. The thing about it is that it is sticky, and mostly comes as white claiming to dry clear. So make sure you don’t overdo it with the latex glue because you will notice the build up! The glue also dissolves with oils, so you can just use oil to remove the build up of latex after you wear them so you reuse them. To remove after wear, you can just gently pull the lashes off.
The other glue is made up of a bunch of alcohols and various chemicals and is definitely less common, mostly used by salons for semi-permanent lashes. Good points include coming in other colours such as black, not as sticky, very long-lasting if applied correctly. Bad points include the chemicals can’t be good for your lashes, you have to work very quickly with it or it will dry while you’re fidgeting with it, its a lot harder to find (sometimes it gets sold as ‘individual lash glue’, just read the ingredient list to see if latex is listed instead), more expensive. If you have applied it correctly it will stick for a long long time, though if you haven’t its guaranteed to fall off. To remove it, you need to buy a specific eyelash remover to dissolve the glue.
options! i think if you want to do it yourself at home, grab a cheap set to play with first (from about $5) a lot of sets will have glue included. From there, brands I like include Ardell, because if you look closely, the lashes are set flat along the piece opposed to most others which you will notice little ‘knobs’ at the base of a flare. (sorry if its confusing i can’t figure out what else to call it). Though their eyelash sets often don’t come with glue, you have to buy it separately. Ardell do stock a semi-permanent black glue, its more of a salon brand. Otherwise on the net, MAC have some awesome false lash sets, I’m going to get their half set myself. They also sell their glue separately, its about $10 for a very decent sized tube of latex glue, which is worth it. I’m not sure if their is a MAC stockist near you, but otherwise you can buy from their website though there is a little extra charge for the internet processing and delivery. Also napoleon has a range of false eyelashes, including some really out-there ones, though I have never used anything napoleon.
Oh, and read the instructions on the packet. Apply the false eyelashes to your actual lashes opposed to your eyelid. Only apply glue to the base and not up the base of the false lash.
another option is to go to a salon to get some semi-permanent lashes stuck on. They will generally use individual flare pieces so you can choose how many to put on, and they will do a much cleaner quicker job than you will do yourself. They should last and fall out as your natural lashes do (3months if you’re good and gentle with them!) They can also tint your lashes as well, with a tint and false eyelashes, you won’t need any mascara! though it is definitely more expensive than doing it yourself.
Anyway I had a ***** of a time finding all this out when I wanted them, so I do hope its useful!
