for my prom in 2 months time i would like to wear some nice black false eyelashes, i dont want them too big but i would like them to make my eyes stand out. any ideas on how much too ? thanks in advance x

what are the best brands of false eyelashes ( for thick big eyelashes)? Ive thought of stargazer ones but i dont know whether all of the packets include the glue too, and how many times can you use them ?

I love the MAC lashes they have quiet a few to choose from and can be so fun plus you can always reuse them if you take care of them properly

I usually just get plain old cheapo ones (WetnWild, Revlon are fine), and cut them in half & just glue them to the outer edge of my eye that way. So that way they look a lot more natural, and last me 2x as long! The important thing is to get ones that have a more natural shape/lengths and practice using the glue to make sure that you get a decent hold & natural look. The brand really isn’t the biggest factor.

I would say for several very valid reasons.
1) They are usually born from poor origins. so, it looks good to them.
2) These women are married to men who have enormous egos, and very little less. So, they need to do this to feel better about themselves, because, they have low self-esteem.
3) The church has a contract w/Mabelene.

Drug stores have pretty good lashes. But if you are looking to save LOTS of money.. I buy my lashes off eBay. I get like 10 pair for $2.00 with shipping included! They have lots of different styles. The lashes feel a little more “plastic” though. But I am completely in love with them and will never pay $6.00 for one pair anymore! I would totally recommend eBay lashes to anyone! Just search “false eyelashes” on eBay

I have tried so many times to apply false eyelashes is there a big secret Im missing here? I have tried…?

everything.. What happens is the glue slides everywhere. Should my eye be open or closed? I can get one side on but then the other side pops up off lash (grr) I cannot get them on ? I have read previous answers and I have read on diff websites – but I think there is some ’secret’ thing I am missing. I do have some coordination I dont know what the problem is? Should I gently pull my the skin at edge of eye so my lash line is straight? I dont know?

I have wore false eyelashes since I was 15 yrs old. There is a trick!! Buy the cheapest pair that you can but buy a regular tube of glue. After you take your lashes out of the package put them on a flat surface and bend them into a horseshoe shape. Leave them like this for a little while so they can shape themselves. If they are to long for your eyes, meaning the strip not lashes, cut only from the outside. Next get you a mirror and good lighting. Apply a small amount of glue to the lash strip. Hold it for about 1 min or so , so the glue has a chance to start setting. I look down into the mirror to put mine on. You might find looking up is easier for you. It might take a few trys but with a little patiences and practice you can do it!! people are always saying I have very nice eyes and if they knew that I did not have one lash on my eyes they’d be surprised to say the least!!I also use eyeliner on my top lid under the lashes so you don’t have to get that close to your real lashes. Hope this helps a little for you. You know what? People will remember you no matter if you have lashes or not. Just let your light shine through those pretty eyes of yours and They’ll remember you for your spirit and after all that’s what’s important!!

How many do you think? I was just watching this girl on tv and her eye lashes were so big she had to have been wearing falsies. I’ve asked my mom about them before and she said to never wear them, that they rip out your real eyelashes, or they will fall out at unexpected times. I have really thin lashes and really want to try them out. Should I? How many girls consider them a “must have” when they go out?

Forget false eyelashes…make your own grow! I had a serious issue with losing all my lashes so i went to sephora and I got Talika Lipocils.Its supposed to make them grow in 28 days. By about day 15, my lashes grew so much they looked fake!
I swear by it now. Its $35 and will last you a couple months. If you cant afford that, try Ardell Lash and Brow Growth Accelerator. Its $4 at like walmart and places like that, and it really works!

Glue or not, one by one or not? It always look weird on me. I have big hazel eyes.

I like Ardell’s fashion lashes they are easy to put on, but you have to buy a seperate glue (buy Duo’s lash adhesive). Apply lashes with tweezers with the band facing your eyes and apply them as close to the base of your lashes as possible with out them touching. Hold the lashes down as the glue is drying

I don’t want length. I want thickness. i want it to look as though i have more eyelashes. I’ve tried fiberwig, it’s stupid.
