I am sorry I failed to mention make up is no problem but the mascara stains under my eyes for days, and putting on false eyelashes is so hard and time consuming.

First I would recommend using a lash primer like DuWop’s Lash Lacquer ($19) or a cheaper version such as L’Oreal’s Volume Shocking Mascara ($10). You apply the white base first, and then you apply the mascara end. The base thickens the lashes, and makes them appear much longer. The comb like end of the Volume Shocking mascara by L’Oreal really extends and thickens the lashes.

When applying mascara with a traditional mascara wand with bristles all the way around, wiggle the wand back and forth slightly while rotating it to get the best coverage all over the lash.

Also, before applying mascara, apply a dark black or brown liner (gel liner like L’Oreal HIP eyeliner pots or MAC Fluidlines) to your water line under the lashes, and use a black or brown pencil into the lashes. Don’t use too thick of a line though, it actually closes the eye off instead of making lashes appear longer and your eyes wider.

Extensions are not worth it. They cost quite a bit (usually under $100 for the cheap ones, which i dont recommend) and they are not implants, so they are not permanent. They are like getting hair extensions. Your lashes do grow, and fall out as others replace them, so the extensions will fall out.

hey there girl friend, ok with fake lashes its all about being dramatic, if you are fair and want your eyes to stand out its best not to wear lashes and lots of colour it can look a bit drag if your not an expert at application and shape, so instead try defining your eye, its a very sexy look that will set your eyes off if they are light and you have dark hair, that means plenty of mascara, line the upper lid from the corner of the inner part of the eye all the way to the outer edge try lining the eye a little further then the end to make your eyes look longer and slightly asian looking, then line the out edge of the bottom lid and smear to give a smoky affect, apply black eye liner in the rim of the bottom lid… it will really give you a sexy WOW affect, then apply a peachy blush, and a really shiny either light peach or light pinky clear gloss… you will look great… hope i helped

Question 6 : What do you GUYS think of false eyelashes?

my face is pretty boring, i have brown hair and brown eyes. a normal nose, and normal lips. haha…..so i like to play it up with my eyes and make them noticed. i really like to enhance my lashes and sometimes mascara just doesnt do it. what do you think about girls with false lashes? do you even notice if shes wearing them? and if you knew she did, would you think other parts of her were fake too? i know ill probably get an answer (from a girl) saying ‘who cares! just be yourself!’ or something like that…im still going to wear false eyelashes….this question just popped into my head and i thought i would ask it!….

I think that false eyelashes are OK if its the right occasion and they are worn correctly.

Question 7 : Favorite mascara? What kind? Do you wear false eyelashes? What kind? Eyelash curler? What kind is best?

I have tried so many. Some work ok, others just clump my lashes so much it is not even funny. I have dark blonde hair so my lashes are light brown. I have your basic lashes, not super full and not super long. I seem to have problems curling them right. How close do you get it to the lash line?
My bottom ones are very far apart. Should you even use mascara in that case?
If I use the dark brown, the lashes don’t seem to show up that well and aren’t noticable.
I know when you see commercials most of those women are using false eyelashes. I have tried them once. Wow does it just take alot of practice. I wouldn’t even leave the house with them on it was so bad.
So that is my story. What do you use? Why do you like it? What color do you use for mascara? Where do you buy them?

I really want to try false eyelashes but never have. They look like they would be really pretty. The best mascara is Maybelline Lash Stylist. It is the only mascara that has like ever worked for me cause it has a comb on the end and I love that! I get it in very black. I always have to use a eyelash curler too cause my eyelashes are soo short. I don’t even use mascara on the bottom lashes cause it looks kind of weird. Hope this helps!

Question 8 : When you take off false eyelashes, do some of your own lashes sometimes come off also?

I’ve been asked to wear them for a show I’ll be doing, and I’m at the age when most of my hair is not gray but if I pluck a brown eyebrow hair, it will grow back gray. I really don’t want my eyelashes turning gray, so I’m wondering if the glue in the false eyelashes will pull out my real lashes. (I’m sure that would not be intended by the maker of the lashes, but I’m wondering if it often happens. I’m trying to figure out whether or not to protest about this.) By the way, how do you even put them on and take them off? Thanks a lot!

If you apply it directly above your lash line you shouldn’t have to worry about lashes being plucked out. You’ll have to put alittle bit of lash glue to it and wait a few seconds (maybe 20 seconds) for it to be sticky then apply from the middle then flatten it out on the side onto your eye lid to make sure you dont get any of your real eye lashes caught. But apply it as close to your real lashes as possible, then curl your lashes so they blend and add mascara and eye liner if you’d like! :)

Question 9 : Would you be jealous of a female with big blue/gray eyes, naturally long eyelashes and a natural tan?

This girl is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. She is naturally tanned she has dirty blonde/ light brown hair. Blue gray eyes like the Brazilians and her eyelashes she doesn’t even need false eyelashes.

Would you be jealous of someone who looks like that?

And no it’s not me!

No…I would not be jealous.
I would just fall in love!

Question 10 : Best sephora products for pale skin?

I have a sephora gift card and need to pick out some products. My skin is very pale and I have brown eyes with black eyebrows/eyelashes and dark brown hair. I want a dewy look, and I’m thinking about laura mercier’s tinted moisturizer. I have uniform skin tone, and when I’ve tried foundations and powders in the past it looks fake. What would look best with my skin? I’m also considering a luminizer or a bronzer. Does anyone know of a good brand? Also, which mascara is best for making my lashes look thicker? Do false eyelashes make a big difference or should I just stick to mascara? Also, I have genetic undereye dark circles, which concealor works the best? I’m going on job interviews what make-up can I wear to look older/more professional?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters

Sephora dual bronzer is what I use and recommend. It’s about 16 dollars and it has 2 colors in it, so if you get carried way (wait that would be me sometimes :) you can tone it back down. I use the Dior Show mascara in black and my lashes look long and dark all day w/o flakes or smudges. That’s 20.00. My dark circles: I have tried every tea bag, home remedy, cheap & expensive product on the market to “reduce, fade, etc……they don’t work so I use minerial camofuleur under my eyes because it”s THE only cover that works, with frozen spoons b4 I put my makeup on. I freeze 2 spoons and use them on my eyes. Sephora doesn’t carry the camoufleur www.makeupartistschoice.com/camoufleur.h…
My puffs and circles are genetic also. Lip Fusion for your lips because it lasts and lasts and gives you a nice pout.
