I have been looking at revlon.com and the description of a new(?) product
called colorstay lash tint.  It’s a mascara that supposedly stays put for up
to 3 days.  Has anyone tried it?  Sounds intriguing.

I’ve been using this for the past week.  It’s okay, but I don’t feel it
lasts three days.  You could tell I had mascara on the first day, but it
seemed to fade away after that.  It goes on a little clumpy, too.  But
it doesn’t smudge, which is always a plus!

I had a coupon and it was on sale, so it was pretty much got it for
free.  I’m glad, because I probably won’t buy it again.

Based on reviews I’ve read here and at Make Up Alley I wouldn’t buy this.
It sounds like it works the first day but then looks clumpy after that.

Where could i buy eyelash tint?

Okay, my eyelashes are blonde and I want to darken them. I usually wear mascara to darken the lashes but I hate the feeling of it afterwords and it’s a pain to put on and take off everyday. Salons usually cost too much so, does anyone know where i could go to buy eyelash tint?

Tint is a professional only product. Salons should really be charging you no more than $40, some places as low as $15. Good luck!

i always see them in pharmacies and drugstores. one brand that i see alot is something called ‘1000 hour’ eyelash and eyebrow tints. its pretty self explanatory, it lasts for 1000 hours (dont know how much that is in days) and it actually helps you find out which color is the best suited for your eye and hair color.

its not that expensive, its usually priced around NZ$10 and i havent heard anything terrible about it so i would try that. getting your eyelashes tinted professionally doesnt cost that much either so if you screw up your at-home kit then you can get it done professionally.

I would say even if you get it done it is not a good idea I mean since when does it should like a good idea putting dye on your eyelashes the closest thing to your eye? you could go blind

Please use only mascara. You can’t specifically trust the professional person. Especially, heaven forbid if something went wrong.

You could become blind. There are so many great mascaras out there.

I have tried walgreens and they dont have anything. I can not use mascara as i am allergic to it. I have had my eyelashes tinted a few times back in Australia but cant find anyone to do it here so i have to try and do it myself. I’m just having trouble finding a kit.

Neutrogena has a lash tint available. I’m sure you can find that at a Walgreens or a CVS (whatever is in your area).

I have heard that if you get some in your eye you can go blind! and people who have taken the skin test and it came out fine still suffered an allergic reaction

Can anyone help me or tell me of their experiences with eyelash tinting?

A home tinting kit and goes on something so close to your eyes is just asking for trouble.

I used to work at boots and I have to say that their own brand products are rubbish.
You’re better off going to a proffesional or wearing thin black massy.
