How to thicken your eyelashes without using any cosmetic?

My eyelashes aren’t that thick ever since I started using Macara.
I was wondering if there’s a way to thicken them up! I heard Vasalin works, but haven’t try them yet. If it works, how long does it take to thicken them ? thanks (:

Mascara shouldn’t make your lashes thinner, unless you’ve been trying to remove the mascara roughly while pulling out some of your eyelashes. I say continue wearing mascara and just be more careful when taking it off.

What cosmetic products do and don’t use animal testing?

• I really think that animal testing for cosmetic purposes is cruel and pointless. Why should a rabbit be blinded so someone can get their eyelashes 1% longer than the next leading brand?

  But anyways, my question is what cosmetic products (makeup, mascara, acne creams, scar products, and other cosmetic related products) DO and DON’T use animal testing?

Does putting Vaseline on your eyelashes make them longer/thicker?

• I’ve heard putting some Vaseline on your eyelashes and eyebrows can make them thicker, healthier, longer, etc. Is it true?

  Usually I use a clean mascara wand with nothing on it, dip it into the Vaseline, and apply it to my lashes just like I would with mascara. Am I actually doing anything beneficial? And can you tell me any other cosmetic (beauty) uses for Vaseline? I’d like to incorporate it into my beauty routine.

it just hydrates them. if u stopped doin in, ur eyelashes would get dry+ brittle. apply it with ur fingers at night and go 2 sleep wit it on

I shaved my eyebrows and now I would like to remove my eyelashes for cosmetic purposes. Have you ever known of anyone who removed their eyelashes?

Yes, you could – but they do serve a purpose. They keep any dirt & dust out of your eyes.

And no, I’ve never known anyone to do this.

I want a mascara that makes my eyelashes LONG and defined.
I’d like it to be hypo-allergenic, ophthalmologist tested and allergy tested. And safe for contact lenses wearers.
All I have found is Almay, but I want some other choices.

How can you make your eyelashes longer?

I’m not allowed to wear make-up to school, and I don’t really want to, but I was wondering is there a way to make your eyelashes thicker/longer/blacker etc, i.e. more noticeable, without having to use mascara or other cosmetics. Thanks!

try curling it with a good eyelash curler. I reccomend one by shieshido or shu uemara. U can find it in department stores, ulta and sephora or online

What’s the smallest amount of cosmetic products you’d be willing to leave the house wearing?

Make-up products specifically.
For me, I’d need at least some waterproof mascara, since I have pale eyelashes, and some concealer for a scar I have on my chin.
And chap stick, if that counts…

I’m perfectly comfortable leaving the house wearing no make up at all. But if I am going like to work or something I always have my mascara, liner and very light bronzer on.

Does applying vasoline to your eyelashes make them grow back thicker and shinier after they shed?

I’ve heard this a few times, but I’m still skeptical. I have thin eyelashes and I was looking for a solution, other than using mascara or other cosmetics.

not vaseline. CASTOR OiL. trust me it works…i used to have sparse light lashes….and after i applied the castor oil my lashes started growing longer and darker! it was great!….just apply before going to bed…don’t put on TOO much….and make sure you clean all of it off in the morning so the oil doesn’t build up in the pores around your eyes.

Should I wear my cosmetic contact even after it cut my eye lid?

I wore my new cosmetic contact for two days. But when I took it out on the second day, it felt like something was in my upper eye lid, like a grain of sand or an eyelash. I have had this feeling for about 4 days now, it is slightly feeling better. I have checked my eyes thoroughly and washed them out with water and found no object in my eye. Should I wear it again after my eye heals? And how much longer do you estimate my eye to heal?

That happens to me every time i get a new pair of contacts.

I actually just search Y!A to figure out whats wrong…

When it starts hurting, I get a q-tip, dip it in the solution, lift up my eye lid, and clean the underneath part with the solution. It hurts a bit but gets it better.
The last time it happened it hurt soo bad i couldnt keep my eye open.

It was hurting for 5 days, i cleaned it, and in 2 days it was healed.
Today it started hurting, so I cleaned it jsut now.

And if you notice, it only hurts when i take the contacts out, but even if it hurts, take them out! For at least 2 days. Then u can wear them again.
