When I was about 8 or 9 ( keep in mind, Dawn was out of print for about 6 or 7
years by then) My mom had picked me up 8 Dawns from Peddlers Village (I know
Babs must know this place, it’s in Wall NJ) anyway; all 8 of them had these
very dramatic eyelashes & their hair was more of an ash blonde (also prone to
fuzzies) and their knees were very blue. I won an auction from Miss Bunch back
in the spring, and the Dawn in the lot was just like the ones I had as a kid. I
always found them very pretty due to their dramatic lashes. I still have all 8
of them & they are in my curio right night with the other 127 (gasp $$$ )
Dawns I have. (Needless to say, I’m on a lean budget for awhile)

That finer hair is usually on the Japan dolls.  I wonder if some of
the last Dawns available were from the Japan factory.  What are the
head molds of your dolls?

i use maybelline define-a-lash mascara.

1.it’s cheap
2. u can buy it nearby at macy’s, a drugstore, or walmart
3. it works REALLY well

Hi I would like to know what you think the best mascara is for having a fake eyelash effect. I like long, black, dramatic lashes! I have been using Lancome and I am quite happy but wondering if i am missing out on something else. I prefer more expensive brands as i have tried lash blast, rimmel etc: and I just think spending a bit more gets way better results!

The only way to create longer lashes is if they were fake. Chances are most longer lashes are fake. Just like extensions are used to create the illusion of fuller hair. Remember genetics are responsible for longer lashes. Look at older pictures of her, like when she was a baby. Chances are she will have shorter lashes (proving she has fake lashes on).

In your opinion, is it worth buying an eyelash curler? Whenever I see people use them, I honestly don’t think it makes that much of a difference. Also, are eye curlers in general all the same, or do you get a better hold and curl if you spend a little more on one?

no, when i use it my eyelashes curl in too much and make them look shorter. i hate eyelash curlers. what i do to get long thick eyelashes is two mascaras, one that is this white coat you put on first and then i use a really good mascara on top. and if i am going out to a party or whatnot i use alot of coats hahaha

p.s the white coat is use is kind of curved so it curl my eyelashes a bit too

I think it makes a huge difference. I’ve only ever had one eyelash curler, but it works very well. I don’t THINK you need to spend a lot on one (mine was a gift, so I’m not sure if it was expensive).

it is worth buying an eyelash curler. i curl my lashes then put on mascara and let the mascara dry then curl them again. is makes a huge difference to me

They make so much difference!
And just buy a Revlon brand eyelash curler.
Sometimes, the super cheap ones really don’t work but that doesn’t mean you have to spend $25 at Sephora.

I think it is definitely worth it, some people just don’t curl it long enough to see a difference.

it doesn’t make such a dramatic difference but i would rather buy a mascara that the wand of it is curved. it works better than the eyelash curler!

Shop around for the right mascara, and make sure to change your mascara regularly as they go out of date.

MAC, for sure!

Lashes usually cost around $10, but it’s worth it.
I own a pair of their false lashes, and they’re high in quality, especially compared to cheap drugstore ones. The length even in the natural looking ones is outragous, so the dramatic ones are sky high!
