Question 1
Where to get an elf eyelash curler in nyc?
I dont want to order it online, so where in the city can I purchase the elf eyelash curler? Please dont put a random drugstore or the elf website. If you dont know, then what other inexpensive eyelash curlers are good, and where can I buy them? Thanks in advance.

Target has started carrying the ELF line, so you could check there.
I got a Maybelline curler from a drug store for like $3 and it works great. When buying low quality, it really doesn’t make a difference what brand you buy

You might want to let your eyelashes rest for a few days. Try not to use the eyelash curler since that seems to be your problem. After a few days try it again. If it still hurts your eyelashes stop using it all together.
Do you wash your mascara off at night? If not, try doing so.
Also, try curling your lashes BEFORE you use mascara. If you use it after, the curler just gets stuck to your lashes which makes it hurt too!
A new curler never hurts! :p
Question 7
What makeup tips could you give me?
Okay so right now I use
Elf eyeliner
eyelash curler
Elf shadow stick
Covergirl lashblastvolume.
I was wondering what other makeup would look good on me. Here’s a picture http://s757.photobucket.com/albums/xx215… I did it sorta messily so the eyeliner is sorta all over the place.. :/ And here’s one with no makeup: http://s757.photobucket.com/albums/xx215… haha, I look sorta creepy.
But anyway what other makeup could I use, how could I make my current makeup better, whatever. Thanks.

You look so good without makeup on!
So I am fourteen and am going into my first year of highschool and I do this routine almost everyday!
Personally, I go to school with a bunch of girls that think smeared black think liner and caked on foundation that they don’t blend into their necks looks sexy, so I get asked these questions a lot at school becuase girls always notice that my makeup looks natural and flawless everyday and honestly it doesn’t take much effort!
First I start with a tinted mosturizer. If you want a drugstore product Cover Girl and Sonia Kashuk make great ones! Then I use a concealer only on trouble spots and under eye circles (which I inherited from my mom!!) and then set it all the Mineralized Skinfinish Natural from MAC. I sometimes wear bronzer and contour my cheekbones but not always. Then I always highlight my cheekbones with a shimmery pearl color, and sometimes apply blush.
For eyes, if your wearing a shadow YOU ALWAYS NEED A PRIMER!! ALWAYS ALWAYS! L’Oreal Decrease, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Insurance, NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow pencils, MAC Painpots etc! Anything that will help your eyeshadows stick and not crease throughout the day. Then I wear a shimmery champagne color on my lid and a light brown in my crease. Try the Maybelline Quad in Chai Latte. And always use brushes! Not your fingers of those little doe foot applicatios. ELF makes brushes for a dollar, so use those!
Then skip liner all together becuase it makes your eyes look more open. If you must use a liquid liner on the top lash line only! I suggest starting with a pen liquid liner first, then working into regular liquid liners and then creme or gel liners. Curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara. But only use one coat to avoid clumps!
The finish with a lipstick or gloss. For a finishing touch use MAC Fix+ or Evian Setting spray, and your good to go!
Question 8
Which elf cosmetics products should I buy?
This is the first time ive bought from elf, and some of their products look really good, and it said if I spent over £30 I would get free shipping, so I wanted to buy:
4 brightening eyeshadow quads, 4 cream eyeshadow duos, 2 liquid eyeshadows, a mascara, 2 eyeliner pens, sheilding hydro tint, lipgloss, bronzer, eyelash curler, cream eyeliner, small angled brush, and an eyelid primer.
However, when I read some reviews of elf, some people really loved it, and some really hated it, so I thought I should get a bit less to see what I think before I spend loads of money on it. But there is a £5 off on orders over £20 easter offer, and if I spend over £30 I get free shipping, so it would be better value for money if I bought more. Bearing in mind that I like eye makeup the most, which products do you think I should get from elf? Which products do you think work really well or really badly? (sorry this question is so long)

i L0VE elf, however i think, since its your first time buying stuff from there you should not get so much of everything.
but what i love from elf is the:
elf brightening eye color . & it comes in a bunch different color variations
the ‘Eye Liner’ , on the actual pen it says ‘mineral eyeliner’. but that’s very good
the black cream eyeliner is very good..
all the lip gloss gift sets are a really good also
Another one i was impressed by was the “Mineral Starter Kits”. its a foundation starter kit that comes with foundation, concealer, and blush and it comes with 2 brushes and a case and it has the directions of how to use it all on the back of the box. it cost 20 dollars. – and you might want to get the primer if you get the foundation kit.
But yes i love e.l.f, they have great affordably quality products
Question 9
I want to try elf products. Are they worth the wait and everything?
Mkay so I’ve heard great things about some of the Elf products. I’ve NEVER purchased makeup online. And if I get anything online, my friend who’s like 34 (He’s a family friend lol, I don’t hang out with people who are that much older than me normally) orders stuff for my laptop from eBay. And that’s it.
I want to order their:
Nail Polishes
Chapsticks (Therapeutic Conditioning Balm)
Eyelash Curler
“Studio” Powder Brush
Lip Gloss
Mascara (The duo one)
Lip Balm Tin things
All Over Cover Stick
Plumping Lip Glaze
Travel Mirror
Blending Eye Brush
I know the code for 50% off and I used that. So I basically get free shipping. Is it worth the wait and everything? What’s your opinion on those products that I want to get? Any others you recommend? Thanks!
Best Answer – Chosen by Voters
I ordered myself some ELF products as a Christmas gift to myself. I got it almost 2 weeks after. But it is worth the wait, considering each product is $1. At first I was only going to buy a few things but went all crazy and got a bunch.
From the ones you want, I have:
Eyelash Curler – A MUST, best one I’ve tried!
Lip Gloss – good glosses
Lip Balm Tin things – Don’t like it one bit, got the berry pop one as a gift with my order because I recommended some friends. Didn’t like the taste at all.
All Over Cover Stick – haven’t used it too much
Plumping Lip Glaze – great, has that tingling feeling the lip plumpers do
Blending Eye Brush – this is my FAVE elf brush, the eyesshadow one is also great
I got more products, if you have any more questions just ask me!
Question 10
How much makeup is good for winners on a YouTube contest?
I want to do a small little contest. I only have 80 subbies, and Im looking to get some more, and I figured a contest would be the way to do it. However…. I am not made of money, and I don’t have a money tree growing in my back or front yard =D
I found a lady on Craigslist who is a retiring makeup artist and she has 499 BEN NYE products all for half off that shes getting rid of! Cake Foundation for example is only 5 BUCKS!! I dont know EXACTLY what she has.. Im meeting with her tomorrow. So… I was thinking..
the first prize, a Ben Nye eyeshadow palette, maybe a concelear color wheel, and a couple pressed shadows..
Second prize: concelear color wheel and a couple pressed eyeshadow
Third prize [comment winner]- A couple elf brushes, eyelash curler, fake eyelash set
Do these sound like okay prizes? I know everyone wants to try out some Ben Nye stuff.. and the palettes are so awesome… but depending on what she has, the comment winner prizes MAY change.. But like I said.. I cant spend a whole lot of money on the contest, because Im broke AS A JOKE! And while we’re at it.. What would be a pretty good contest theme? I know I seen a channel where her contest theme was “Awareness Ribbon Colors” which is fantastic, but I cant exactly rip off her idea lol. So I need something FUN, original and creative! PLEASE help me out!!!

I am a solid youtube guru follower and I think it’s awesome that you are thinking of your subs.
I don’t think you need a gimmick for your contest.. I think ” a thank you to my subs contest ” is honest and heartfelt.
I would stick with the Ben Nye Products ( since you found a cheap source) and do one nice prize maybe 2 at most…in truth anything you give away will be welcomed..
Hope this helps !
I found your channel.. I will follow and look forward to checking out your vids.. good luck !
