Good eyelash curler – especially for Asian lashes?

Question 1
Subject: Good eyelash curler – especially for Asian lashes?
Content: I’m so sick of not being able to get my short, super straight Asian lashes curled!!!
Best Answer : Ok, I have two; a Shiseido one and a Shu Uemura one. In all honesty I think I prefer the Shiseido one even though the Shu seems to have an almost cult following for some reason…. They are both very good though.
Reading reviews on the net, both seem to be good for Asian lashes though the Shiseido one seems to be the more popular one.
Question 2 :
Subject : Do heated eyelash curlers work much better?
Content : I want my eyelashes to curl but they won’t. I use an eyelash curler then mascara but it only stays curled for about 10 min. Do heated eyelash curlers work much better?
Best Answer :
Yes, blast the curler with your hairdryer for about 5-7 seconds. Always make sure to touch it and make sure its not to hot before you put it near your lashes though (personal experience). It will make the lashes curl better and last longer. Then, put mascara on immediately after you curl them.
Question 3 :
Subject : is it worth investing in a high priced eyelash curler, or do they all work pretty much the same?
Content : I have quite short, stubby eyelashes, and would like to be able to give my eyes a more wide awake look….is it worth investing in a high priced eyelash curler, or do they all work pretty much the same? any product recommendations would be great (products available in the UK, or that I could buy online)
Answer : they’re all pretty much the same .The sephora brand ones are pretty good
Question 4
Subject: Kind of eyelash curler
Content : well do you have to buy an expensive one- because the cheap ones are bad
Answer : think they are basically the same but I would look for one that had good rubber pads on them where your lashes will lay when you curl them ….that is how your lashes get damaged by a lash curler is when the rubber pads are thin or are not secured on very good. So I would say any kind like that and you can get them at Wal-Mart’s or a drugstore.
Question 5 :
Subject : How to make my eyelashes curl without an eyelash curler?
Content : My eyelashes are fairly long, with blonde tips at the end. They don’t curl, but just stick straight out. I have tried many times to curl them with an eyelash curler, but this gives them an ‘unnatural’ 90 degree bend look, which looks terrible. Is there a quick and easy way to curl them without an eyelash curler

Question 6 :
Subject : Any suggestions for what kind of heated eyelash curler I should buy?
Content : I have an heated eyelash curler that eats up my batteries like crazy. I take out the batteries whenever I do not use the eyelash curler, but the batteries (that were never used before) still die really fast. Any suggestions for a heated eye lash curler? I have a plain eyelash curler, but I prefer heated ones. Are there any that come with a recharger by any chance?
Best Answer : I use my blow-dryer on my curler and it does the same thing.
The thing is to find a curler that fits your eye shape.
I’ve had expensive curlers (non-heated one), but they don’t fit my eye shape and/or capture all my lashes.
Just use your blow-dryer
Question 7 :
Subject : What is the right way to use eyelash curler?
Content : I just bought an eyelash curler. But i have some difficulties getting it to curl all my eyelashes.
The contour of the curler just doesn’t fit my eye. I can only managed to get like perhaps the middle part of my eyelash, awkwardly. I said awkwardly because the curler is able to touch my cheeks and like gona poke into my eyeball.
Is it because using it wrongly or its just the curler?
Best Answer :
You might just be doing it wrong. Here is a helpful video that’ll show you how to curl your eye lashes correctly. Trust me, you need to watch it. Many people are curling their lashes incorrectly and that leads them to lose their eyelashes because they keep trying to overdo it.
The person in the video is a pro makeup artist and gives a lot of great tips

Question 9 :
Subject : How can I prevent my eyelashes from crimping when I use an eyelash curler?
Content : I always use my Kevin Acouin eyelash curler and some times my eyelashes on the outer corners end up with an annoying crimping look. What am I doing wrong?
Best Answer – Chosen by Asker
make sure you go all the way down to the root of the eyelash and squeeze gently for 3-5 seconds, then take it to the middle and repeat, then to the ends and repeat
Question 10
Subject : Will my eyelash curler also work on my eyebrows?:
Content : I want to curl my eyebrows, but I keep getting burned by my curling iron. Do you think my eyelash curler will work ok?
Best Answer : How long are they . WOW! that must be a joke
Lower the curler onto their eyelashes.
Check to see if it is right next to the lash line (still on the lashes)
Push down very, very softly and ask them if they feel something. If they do, repeat steps above.
Otherwise you just push down harder and curl their lashes.
Just remember to look carefully and never go too fast, you’ll be fine then!
hope this helps and good luck! <3
