Enormous Lash, Revitalash, and Jan Marini’s Age Intervention Eyelash Conditioners are the only three I know work (personal experience and friends). They are pricey because they include the prostaglandin that conditions your lashes (and brows) at the root to come out darker, healthier, longer, etc.

Eyelash question extender?

hi guys,

so i have horrible eyelashes that don’t curl up and aren’t very lengthy.
i’m not very fond of eyelash curlers; they make my lashes go into 90 degree angles and they wear out throughout the day.
so is there anything that i can do to my eyelashes that can make them curl naturally?

Well….Here are a few options:

1. Heat up your eyelash curler with a hairdryer. Hold it in your hand until it is WARM to the touch (you dont want to burn your eyelids). This is essentially like curling your hair only with an eyelash curler. Also, when you curl your eyelashes, make sure that you are curling them correctly. For help with this, you can watch youtube videos. (i have included one of the best ones that helped me a LOT).

2. Curling mascaras. Personally, my favorite is Rimmel’s Sexy Curves, as the brush is specially formed to enhance lash curling. I am able to wear it without even curling my lashes first.

What’s the Hardest/Worst part of your Body to Scratch?

for me I hate scratching my back and there’s not a back extender scratcher available, and I hate scratching my eyelash area. It seems to itch right when I finished cutting my fingernails short.

thighs or groin area, there is no way to scratch and be cool about it. Especially between shaving. You have to pretend not to be itching and run to the bathroom and scratch!

Best Drugstore brand mascara?

I have really long eyelashes and i was wondering which one is the best one? I saw the commercial for the almay one coat dial up mascara and i thought that was pretty neat but i was wondering which ones have worked for you? which ones will make my eyes pop lol ? i’ve only used one mascara ever called the L’Oreal Double Extend Lash extender but i’m running out now so tell me what you guys use!!!

Agreed with answer on L’Oreal’s telescopic.
That stuff is AMAZING.
I wish they had it in waterproof.. I think they do, but I can never seem to find it anywhere!

Oh and as for the commercials, they’re to advertise the makeup which means it’s going to look like wonderous makeup when it really could be crap. Lol.

Tip- I have really long lashes too, but STRAIGHT. What I do is lightly apply mascara to the TOP of my top lashes, yeah sounds silly, but do that, let it dry. THEN I curl my lashes, hold for about 10 seconds and then right after that apply mascara to them so the curl stays. Do it one eye at a time.
I don’t apply mascara to the bottom because the way my eyes are shaped and I actually try to make the area below my eyes as bright as possible with no makeup past my top lashes other than foundation and whatnot.

Talika lash extender – has anyone used it?

I’ve recently bought Talika lash extender, the one that contains little loose particles (kind of fibres) and you apply it between two coats of mascara. Has anyone had an experience who could give me tips as I find it really fiddly to use.

As the particles are little ‘black hairs’ I find that, however careful I am, a lot of it falls on my face during application and then they are difficult to remove. So I end up looking like I have hair on my face in various places. Even if I remove them one by one, I find that during the day they fall off my eyelashes.

It is otherwise a nice product in the sense that it does make your eyelashes look thick and long.

I’ve never heard of it before.

What I am using is MD Lash. It’s a topical cream you put on your lash line when you go to bed. In just 1 month, my eyelashes have grown about 2-5mm. It’s a bit pricey but when you work it out it’s about $10.00 / month. I’ve also heard great things about Lilash (that it’s the best) and from the before and after pictures, it would be a good investment.

I use the Loreal tube mascara (super cheap) and it always looks like I have false eyelashes on.

How do you get Rimmel Lycra Lash Extender to curl lashes really well?

I just bought this mascara, but it looks like it doesn’t even deposit much mascara on my eyelashes. I guess they were sorta longer, but really spidery.

My eyelashes are very short and straight, so I want to know if using a heated eyelash curler, or the hairdryer on eyelash curler technique would work on my lashes?

I also tried layering the mascara with Rimmel Glam’eyes, and it didn’t curl, but it gave me volume and length.

Please help me curl my lashes!!! I just have a normal eyelash curler that never works and tears out my lashes!

I had nothing but trouble with Rimmel mascara….I finally went back to Cover Girl, but I still use Rimmel lipstick, but there mascara sucks! their mascara is to wet and will not curl upwards!

Rimmel lycra lash extender or rimmel lash maxxx? or any others?
I’m asian and my eyelashes are already pretty long and full, but but i want a mascara that will make my eyelashes [both top and bottom] really noticeable and dramatic for when there’s a special occasion. I really like/ want the extra long, clean, fan like look that almost look like FALSIES!

L’oreal Telescopic, hands down! I love that stuff, it’s really lengthening and makes my lashes really dark to. Cover Girl Lash Blast is pretty good too, and L’oreal Voluminous for the dramatic fake eyelashes look (though this one might run slightly). Also if you’re Asian and you live in Asia, you could check if your country sells Majolica Majorca (a low-end sub brand of Shiseido), they carry some of the nicest mascaras every that are catered for Asian eyes! I need a mascara that doesn’t clump and gives volume??

My mascara right now is horrible!!! It is always clumpy and makes my eyelashes look like giant spiderlegs!!(thats what my sis says) ugghh ya it is pretty bad and also when it dries after i put it on it becomes majorly flaky and the blck flakes go onto my face! The one I use now is Rimmel and it is called Lycra Lash extender and it SUCKS SO BAD!!! so if you want to buy that one DO NOT buy it. I just want a mascara that doesnt clump and flake and that gives you long and volumous eyelashes and, i dont care about price. So can you tell me what kind that i could get???
