Are you talking about the ones that look like a pair of tweezers?
Hated those. I could always aply them faster by hand.
There are some tricks on applying them.
1. Most lashes need to be trimed. I don’t mean the hairs. I mean the band itself. If they are too long, they will have a tendency to pop off at the ends. (lashes hold on at the ends)
After the cut (only cut the outside corner). apply a very small amount of clear nail polish to the end that you cut. This keeps the lashes from pulling off the cut end.
2. Duo adhesive is still the best adhesive.
3. Using a liner (liquid which dries or a water applied cake) should be applied first. It prepares the skin and allows the adhesive to adhere to the skin better.
4. Apply a small amount of adhesive to the band and smooth it over the band. Then apply two small beads at both ends.
Apply the lash and position it but do it looking down into a mirror. Do not close your eye. Keep looking down until it dries. Do not look up.
To hold the lash in place while it dries press yur finger up against the lash hairs and allow the natural spring of the lash to hold it in place.
There is also a technique call “double-bonding” but you first ahve to be good at positioning the lashes since once contact is made you will not be able to move it around.
Question 2
False eyelashes??
I have never tried false eyelashes before, however really long, full lashes will look amazing with my halloween costume this year. I bought a cheap pair to try out- they came with a little tube of glue and a clamp type applicator thing. I am going to give it a try and see how they work. Any experts out there with false eyelash hints would be appreciated. I’m kinda scared- plus, what If I spend all that money on my costume and they fall half way off and I go around looking like an idiot half the night?

Make sure your lid is free of any makeup. In other words wash your lids very well and make sure there completely dry before applying. I do lashes for a living, along with other things and if u are talking about the lashes u get from a Halloween store, then i think that u will be fine for the night. Carry the little tube of glue with you just in case.
Also if u are going to apply any access makeup, let your lashes set about 20 mins.
Less is more when it comes to glue, a lot of time lashes fall off is because the glue clumps up.
Dont use crazy glue or anything else like that, but i am sure u know that! I have used those lashes before for Halloween and i love them so u are going to be fine! Happy Halloween and i am sure u are going to look Great!!
Question 3
Why are Ruby&Millie products so expensive?
Like in the UK a lipstick applicator is around £6.00!! and i bought some false eyelashes the other day for £13.00 and the heated eyelash curlers are £20.00.
Why is it expensive? are they worth the money?
I havent tried the false eyelashes yet so i dont know..

i love ruby and millie i got a gift set last christmas. i think the more well known it is the more they can get away with putting prices up. Although they must do surveys to find out how much people would spend then probably put it up more. It’s makeup that stuff is always expensive because they know people won’t stop wearing make up and cause they can lol.
Question 4
Girls! What Mascara Do You Use?
- Whats the best mascara you use/used?
And Is there a mascara out there which will…Give my allready long lashes a false lash effect. (Even longer, voluming, curled)
Be waterproof (meaning if i dive into a pool of water I wont come up looking like a panda)
And keep my eyelashes up and curled once using a curling applicator.Additional Details
Thank You For All The Answers.
Is there a mascara you’ve tryed that is seriously waterproof? Really need one! =]

I would recommed finding a mascara which you like which isn’t waterproof. A lot of mascaras by brands such as Lancome aren’t officially waterproof but they last a long time and are great for your lashes. Waterproof is actually very bad for your eyelashes so I think you should use a normal mascara and for days when you are going swimming using a beauty product such as Double Fix by Clarins. It makes your non-waterproof mascara 100% waterproof!
