If you don’t already have an ebay account, you might want to consider getting one. You can get almost anything you can want on ebay and usually at better-than-retail prices! Just make sure you buy from a seller with a 99% or better rating and over 100 sales. I have never had any problem as long as I have followed those guidelines.

How do you apply and wear false eyelashes so that they look real?

Any suggestions of what to buy and wear will be appreciated too. Can’t I just buy the cheap ones from Wal-mart or a local makeup store or do I have to buy the expensive ones online?

Also, how often can false eyelashes be reused (if at all)?

Get the most natural looking ones.
Cut them so that they’re not too wide.
Apply them as close to your lash line as possible.
Apply mascara so that the false lashes stick to your real lashes.
Use liner to blend in the false lash line and your natural lash line.

Some pairs can be reused, some you can’t really. Read the box.

I see a lot of magazine articles and online tutorials and things that suggest wearing false eyelashes. Just wondering do a lot of people really still wear these? I kind of thought that they were a thing of past…or for costumes or dressing up for a night on the town kind of thing.

all the stars wear lashes; I even will wore lashes at my wedding & when I’m out on the town w/ my girlfriends or husband. You may recall how dramatic fake lashes use to look. Those days are far gone; nowadays; fake lashes can look very real & sexy.

There are so many different styles of false eyelashes. How would I know what style I should get and what kind of look they’ll give me?

I also really like those criss cross ones, but it’s hard to find in the stores. Does anyone know here I can find a good quality brand online?

You can get pretty much any look you want, from natural (but extended) to really out-there and decorative. It just pretty much depends on what kind you buy. If you want something crazy that you only plan on using once, try a costume shop. For more realistic and natural looks, you’ll want to go to a beauty supply store, or possibly get them done professionally at a salon. Applying eyelashes correctly can be difficult, so consider your options before you try gluing them on yourself.

Hm, I was just wondering this while I read something online. It was an article on why men are better than woman (I know, weird, okay..) and one of the things say: “Whatever is on our face stays in it’s original colour” or something like that.

Thus, I wonder, do guys think coloured eye shadows and eye liners are weird? If so, how about false eyelashes?

it really depends on how far you go with it. The lighter and the thinner your hair is, the less you should put on. For example, it looks hideous when a blonde girl puts on lots fake eyelashes and lots of weird colors because she looks like a clown and unnatural. But someone with darker and thicker hair it looks more natural. I use only a little bit on the very edges of my eye so you can’t notice it from far away and it people usually like. it. I think the article was talking about the girls that do go all out because the other ones you can’t (and shouldn’t) notice it that much. Just keep it minimal and it’ll look good. I really like it that way.
