Okay everyone…time for Jessica to vent a bit. Although I do realize I haven’t
been posting for very long. I guess I sort of just shimmied my way into this
newsgroup. I must say, I’m a bit shy when I post, which is why I hadn’t before
very much.

But ANYWAY, back to the point of this [and I need to hurry up -- NewsRadio is
on in half an hour] I’d noticed before that some people were just posting
various rants, and no one is going to read this [hehe] so I’ll just rant
away…

To my mom:
I love you but OH MY GOD, STOP PUTTING DOWN EVERYTHING I LIKE. I swear, if I
hear one more insult about Dave Foley or KITH or Rocky Horror or NewsRadio or
ANYTHING I like, I’m going to go bitchcakes! If you’ve got nothing nice to say,
don’t say anything at all, [it's a major cliche, but fuck it] am I right folks?
That’s what I thought. Everything I like, you disagree with. And it only
figures that my dad, who likes KITH and has the same sense of humor as I do,
doesn’t live with me. Amazing how things like that work out.

To the stupid global history exam I took yesterday:
You suck. I don’t know anything about industrialization. And besides, that was
a really stupid essay topic. You suck. You suck. You suck.

To that scary guy with no legs that was on The X-Files last Sunday:
What do you think you’re doing? You scared the crap out of me! I felt like a
little kid after that episode — I was scared to leave my bedroom or turn off
my light! Jeez.

back and you won’t hear another complaint.

Hey, another Trich-er.  Isn’t it the WORST…above all, I’m sick of hearing
people saying “Why don’t you just stop??” GOD if only it were that easy.  I
really oughta be in therapy, and trich is just another piece of evidence to
that fact, but I can deal with the low-self esteem, and freaking out just
about every chick I ever meet if I could JUST get over fucking

I’ve heard that putting vaseline and castor oil on eyelashes will make them grow thicker and longer, but I don’t want to go buy stuff that won’t do anything. Has anyone heard if this really works?

my friend used latisse and it really worked-it was like $150 from the dermatologist-look it up at latisse.com-i think claire danes has a commercial for them right now-hope that helps

I’m not quite sure if race has to do anything, but I am Asian/Chinese.
I have extremely short eyelashes, taken from my father’s side of the family.
I want to make them grow longer, without always using mascara.
Any suggestions on how to do that?
(Plus I only have one eyelid, instead of two.)

And I heard that applying Vaseline on your eyelashes helps,
but the Vaseline clogs the tear dick in the eyes.
Is that true?

DONT FREAK! lol i did this same thing with a eyelash curler when the padding slipped out….off with my naturally LONG eyelashes i freaked. but you’ll be AMAZED how fast they grow back i had no idea, i mean nothing is fast enough….

if you have any lashes at all buy a pointy tip mascara (maybelline lash stylist) and put it on but kind of make ur eyelashes look “messy” i know it sounds terrible but its better than looking like you have none at all. *trimming the very tip makes eyelashes grow faster, just like hair but i wouldnt advise this until they’re all one length and a pretty good one. good luck sweetie

I know this sounds completely fake and impossible, but VASELINE actually helps grow out your eyelashes. I had read about this on the internet (search “use vaseline to grow eyelashes” on google) and applied a thin layer of it with a Q-tip before I went to sleep. In the morning I washed it off the same time I washed my face and now (after a couple of weeks) I can seriously see that it is LONGER.

Try it! Vaseline is incredibly cheap and it’s definitely worth a shot. However, humans each vary, so it’s not guaranteed to lengthen your lashes.

Not a problem, babe!!
If your eyelashes have been falling out, they will grow back in where they fell out. But if there not I use loreal lash serum, you put it on before bed and it thickens your eyelsahes. Oh! also last summer i went to a beauty salon and got my eyelashes tinted for 12 dollars. But thats only to dye them black, but you could also get eyelash extensions. Also! an eyelash curler and mascara never hurt!! Good luck, just remember your beautiful and thats for sure!:)

Vaseline makes them stronger so they don’t break and fall of so there fore they will grow to be longer

i think that your best bet would prolly be fake lashes but you dont want the reallly big ones or ppl will know they r fake. and untill then yea i would cut way back on the mascara.

I have NEVER heard of any product that makes your lashes GROW longer.
If you want a product to make them APPEAR thicker and longer. I swear by two mascaras. One is loreal double extend-white on one side, black on the other(or whatever color you prefer) The other is loreal voluminous.
You can also get eyelash extensions that last maybe 2-3 months. They are actually attached to your existing lashes not the skin or base of you eyelashes. It can be a little expensive.

olive oil, vitamin E, vaseline… over-the-counter products work too. Some are more expensive than others.
