Lumigan for eyelash growth?

Question 1
Lumigan for eyelash growth?
I’ve been using Lumigan for about 4 months and my eyelashes are about 45-50% longer than they were originally but I purchased my lumigan from Dr. Klein at skin1 com so I paid $150 for a 1.5ml bottle! I was wondering if anyone knows where I could purchase lumigan for a legit price and from somewhere that’s not sketchy. Any suggestions besides Alldaychemist?
Answer
Alldaychemist is legitimate and not at all sketchy. I’ve ordered from them a number of times and never had any problems. All the items I ordered were authentic and fresh.
Another place to look at is In House Pharmacy. It also has good service and legit items.
If you’re sketched out by ordering Rx stuff online, then you should just stick to getting it from your doctor.

Question
Has anyone ever used glaucoma med (travatan, Xalatan, Lumigan) for eyelash growth?
The popular beauty products Revitalash and Jan Marini Intervention Eyelash both use this med as their “magic” ingredient in their high-priced lash growing formula.

Yes.
It is well known in the medical world that eye medications that contain prostaglandin F2-alpha analogs (latanoprost, bimatoprost, travoprost), which are normally used to treat open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, have the side effect of producing significant increases in eyelash length and density. It is suspected that the ingredients in the products you mentioned fall into this category of medications. Here at Bauman Medical Group, where I perform eyelash transplant procedures, I also prescribe these medications for patients who want a less-invasive approach. Even though these medications are readily available, I always suggest that you have a physician monitor the results and monitor for side-effects.

Question 2
Has anyone tried Careprost (generic Latisse/Lumigan) for eyelash growth and did it work?
I’m thinking of trying ‘generic Latisse’ called Careprost to make my eyelashes longer… check out (http://www.latisse.com) for the non-generic version website.
I just wondered how many other people had tried this (especially if it was the generic and not the branded version) and what kind of results it produced?
Also, has anyone used it on eyebrows and if so what did it do?
Would love to hear some personal experiences before I embark on my own mission!
Additional Details
Also, please don’t tell me not to try it because it’s ‘dangerous’ – that’s not what I asked and it makes no difference to me what you think on that score. I just want to hear from anyone who has tried it or knows someone who’s tried it and get genuine experiences on whether it worked… not advice I haven’t asked for and don’t want.

Ok, this is second hand info from a similar product that was out before Latisse. (I don’t know if it still exists) It was called Lash Intervention and was like $160 and my friend who used it SWORE by it. She actually ended up trimming her lashes because they kept brushing up against her sunglasses. Anyway, who knows if its still on the market or if it was ever FDA approved, but she is totally not blind or brain-damaged or any worse off now for using it
Question 3
Where can I buy Lumigan?
I want to buy lugmigan for eyelash growth but I don’t want to get it from some sketchy online pharmacy, I would rather buy it from a dermatologist. I know some dermatologists in the US are selling it to patients for eyelash growth, but I don’t know which ones or if there’s anywhere else I can get it??

That stuff doesnt work. I have tried many products to lengthen my eyelashes. The only one that seems to work is talika eyelash lipocils. You can purchace this product by the link below.

i’ve recently started using the drug, but i don’t want to put drops in my eyes. my mom suggested that i drop several drops of it in my mascara. will that still increase the growth of my eyelashes?

And Yes….. I’m aware that Lumigan is a prescription meant for the treatment of Glaucoma. I’m also aware of the patent infringement lawsuit, however these have nothing to do with my questions. Thanks anyway (??!)

Anna,
ask your optometrist or ophthalmologist. Be honest with them as you why you want Lumigan. They can test your eye pressure, monitor you for other, undesirable side effects. I have done this for 2 of my patients in the past. Dermatologists are not equipped to monitor the eye for side effects
