What mascara is the best at helping your eyelashes to grow?

Hubby says I am going through a mid life crisis. I am just more interested in makeup for my eyes. I do not have the best eyelashes, but I have seen the commercials that claim that their mascara helps eyelashes to grow thicker and longer. Is there any truth to this, and if there is, which one is the best for this?

Yes there definetly is, I use L’oreal lash boosting serum. My eyelashes were damaged and broken and that product really made them stronger and thicker! It cost about 12 bucks but hey its worth the spend. Hope i helped.

Does mascara make your eyelashes grow longer?

i know mascaras can make you lashes LOOK longer, but does it help they grow too? when i first started using mascara (i didn’t use this daily) even on days when i didn’t wear it i felt that my lashes were a lot longer. and recently i started puting mascara on my lower lashes too and i noticed that my bottom lashes got a lot fuller and darker too.. and this is when i don’t have ANY mascara on. or any make up at all for that matter.

Might as well say that hair dye makes your hair grow longer.

The reason that you feel as though they are longer is because the mascara adds pigment to those light hair or the light ends that you do not see. My lashes, while dark enough to be visible, are quite light at the tips. When I wear mascara, they appear to be much longer.

Has nothing to do with lash growth, just makeup doing its job

Can I do anything to help my eyelashes grow? What brand of mascara should I use?

I don’t really care about that “volumizing” thicker look to my lashes that many people want. I just want them longer—or at least to look longer. Is there anything that can encourage growth? Also, I have tried many kinds of mascara, and they all just get clumpy, especially the “volumizing” ones. What brand will make my eyelashes look longer, without clumping?

There are sooooo many mascaras that can do that! if you go to the cosmetics isle (I would try Target. I was in there today and they have the best deals on it) and look at mascaras you’ll find some that have 2 brushes. One that goes on white(These are your extensions. brush them on and they will form as extensions and make them longer. and they come off when you wash them out) and a regular colored brush (once you have put the white stuff on, put this on for making your lashes look just like any other mascara. its just the color) I have used mascara like this and its EVERYWHERE but you can get it at Target for like 5 or 6 dollars and its great!

Is there any sort of remedy or “vitamin mascara” to make my eyelashes grow thicker, and longer?

I’m a quarter asian, spanish (european) and half greek. So i have really long, thick, but flat eyelashes. Recently, I bought MAC’s new mascara, but the chemicals and animal fat are too much for my eyelashes to handle.. Some have even started to fall out when I wash my face.. Is there anything that is out there that will help my eyelashes replenish and be healthier and stronger?

Ok, I’m going to tell you that I’ve spent years researching this. I’m Asian and I have short, stubby, thin eyelashes that are in desperate need of length. (My boyfriend’s are longer than mine – nice.) I’ve paid upwards of $150 for tubes of various products that claim to lengthen eyelashes. The results were minimal and the product only worked with continued use – talk about expensive! My last resort was to try Blinc’s Kiss Me Mascara and I’m in love. It lengthens my lashes without making them look like spider legs (i.e. Revlon) and washes off easily with warm water and a cotton ball. You can buy Blinc online at sephora.com for $24 (and you get three free samples) – I’m not sure chemical-wise what is in Blinc but I love it and think you will too!

Estee Lauder and Lancome has mascare booster or something like that. It conditions ur eyelashes and keeps them from falling. u can also apply at night it is not harmful like mascara.

I have big dark brown eyes but wimpy eyelashes,if I’m not wearing mascara it looks like I have no eyelashes.I have tried several brands of mascara.I love love love DEFINE-A-LASH volume mascara by Maybelline. Walgreen’s $7.00.

Is there a non-mascara, or non-coloured mascara lash growing formula around?

I hate mascara because I’m always forgetting its there, not to mention the hassle of putting it on. I’m hoping there’s something out there that is not a mascara or at least not coloured that I could apply *like* a mascara that would help my eyelashes grow longer, and it needs to be something reasonably priced as I’m a mum on a budget. • I’m not quite sure if race has to do anything, but I am Asian/Chinese.
  I have extremely short eyelashes, taken from my father’s side of the family.
  I want to make them grow longer, without always using mascara.

stop using the mascara for a while…i’ve heard petroleum jelly works wonders but i have no idea, i haven’t tried it

plus, you should check out the ingredients in the mascara; i bet that’s what’s causing it. chemicals. try some type of organic/ natural mascara. they won’t thicken your eyelashes, but they usually have a better smell, they hold your eyelashes curl better, and there arent any racoon eyes at night. best of all, those are natural. personally, i prefer this one
