I am going to a costume party tonight ! How do I apply my fake eyelashes correctly?

Do I put on my eyeliner and eyeshadow first, or after. And what about mascara? should I put some on my own eyelashes first, or after or not at all?

put the lashed on FIRST before anything… you need to start fresh cause if you have anything on your eyes to begin with they wont stick as well.. then apply our eyeshadow eyeliner and if you want a more dramatic look you can apply mascara on the lashes

Will false eyelashes look to “OVER THE TOP” for a new years eve party tonight?

They’re basic black ones with a glitter lash-line on them. I was thinking of trimming them so they won’t look so over the top.
What do you think?

I’m wearing a green sequin dress with silver stilettos, so i thought the glitter on the eyelashes would match my shoes.

just a little, its kinda hard to trim them. just go and buy some cheap green glitter real quick at target or something.

nope but just make sure you don’t get the stuff with adhesive already on them.
they are crap and will come off it like 5 minutes!
so if you have those don’t wear them.
if you dont don’t trim them, it will make them look strange.
have fun at your party.

im planning to get my eyelashes done for a party.
im wondering how long do they last.

fake eyelashes they will last as long as you dont screw around with them if that makes any sense. go with a smoky eye sort of effect.

I would be a bit concerned that they would fall off. You don’t want to be worrying about that all night – I’d say you would be better with a few layers of waterproof mascara.

What is the best way to apply fake eyelashes?

I bought some fake eyelashes and adhesive for a Halloween party tonight. I can’t seem to get the corners to stay down. Should I put them on before I put any make up on?

Step 1: Apply all of your make-up first!
Step 2: Determine which eyelash goes on each eye. They should be smaller going on the inside and extending longer toward the outside.
Step 3: Take a q-tip and take off the cotton. Apply lash glue to the q-tip, then take the q-tip and spread glue evenly across the band of fake lashes.
Step 4: Starting from the outside of the eye, apply the lashes at your natural lash line and hold for a few seconds so that the glue can attatch to your natural lash. When you feel that it is secure, lay down the rest of the lash and hold for a few seconds. The glue WILL work, just hold until it hardens a bit.
Step 5: Do the same thing to the other eye.
Step 6: Glue may dry clear but sometimes they dry white, go ahead and take your eyeliner and go over your liner once more but do it softly as to not disturb the lash glue that may still be drying.

Yep, it’s totally fine to do that.
My sister did it once, just make sure you cut them properly:)

I have these large, lime green fake eyelashes for Halloween.
I have a party on the 24th and I want to wear them for Halloween, too.
So can I wear them on both nights?
They come with glue, they are not pre-adhesed.
So, can I wear them both days?

Yes, you can wear false eyelashes more than once. Remove them very carefully at the end of the first party (slowly peel them off your eye instead of ripping them off) and you should be able to clean off most of the dried adhesive. I just pick off the gummy stuff, and then put the lashes back in the original packaging to help keep them clean and preserve the shape.

Just make sure you are using the adhesive in the tubes for strips, and not the one in the bottle for individuals (that is semi-permanent and the glue will be crackly and hard to clean off). My favorite lash glue is Duo, but the Ardell one in the tube is decent too

My eyelashes have fallen out, what can i do to make them grow back?

• Quite a few of my eyelashes have fallen out due to me having eye lash extentions for a party. I did not realise you could have them taken of professionally so i just pulled them of which was a huge mistake. I now have hardly any eyelashes and the ones i do have are so small. Is there anything i can do to help/make them grow back?

  Try Mavala Eye-Lite Double Lash it strengthens lengthens and thickens lashes. I use it all the time and although it most probably won’t be a miracle and make your eyelashes grow really fast it should certainly help. I have noticed such a difference since i have started using this – everyone comments on how long my eyelashes are. -(you can buy it off ebay by the way or http://www.feelunique.com)
