Yes, it’s done all the time. Problem is, hair grows, so it’s not permanent.

Question 2

Can a redhead with auburn hair and strawberry blonde eyebrows and lashes dye them all black?

I have auburn hair and blonde eyebrows and eyelashes. I wanted to try something different. I thought about doing it for awhile now. Just a simple change for fun its not like I am intending to hide who I am or anything, or that I don’t like my hair. I noticed my fellow redhead Ms. Lohan did it and she has the same shade of red hair as I do and fair skin and it looked good on her. I dont know anything about dyes or using them for eyebrows and eyelashes. I dont know what permanent and temporary dyes are either. If I do it will it ruin my natural color? I don’t think it would look bad on me. Oh well. If anyone wouldn’t mind sending some advice my way I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Why don’t you just try on a wig and get some dark eyebrow pencil and black mascara, then you would know what you look like instead of ruining your beautiful hair?
Then if you want the change go ahead and do it professionally, and of course it would take a lot of doing to keep it up, not even considering the expense. I had very nice auburn hair and colored it and now I wish I had not done that. My advice: Don’t do it. But, if you do anyway, please go to a professional to have it done so it doesn’t get all messed up. Ok? And Please, please, please, don’t try to dye your own eyebrows or lashes. The risk of infection, and blindness is definately not worth it! There is even a warning on the instructions on hair dye not to do your eyebrows and lashes. It is not something to attempt yourself in any case. Good Luck!

Question 3

Any good eyelash extension places in los angeles?

I don’t want it permanent. I’m looking for a good price (no more than $20.) The last place I went to only cost $15 but the dye was so strong, it burned my eyes. I have very sensitive eyes so I’m looking for a professional that won’t cost an arm and leg.

Umm.. this looks like a blogspot for llamas. It says absolutely nothing about eyelashes or makeup. Thanks for nothing!

Question 4

What color should i dye my hair?

i have become bored with my natural hair color- i was blond as a child and my hair has darkened over the years so that i now have a rather flat mousy color. other than the slightly boring color, my hair is great- very thick, soft, and break resistant. but i have stopped wearing it loose because the boring color makes me feel self conscious. i have decided to dye my hair with a Natural Instincts semi permanent dye, but i would like some advice on my color range. i have rather pale skin, but i blush easily. i also have blue eyes, and my eyelashes and eyebrows have stayed a bit lighter than my head hair. i’d be willing to get a permanent dye job professionally done, but would also like to experiment a little first. any suggestions?

i think you should get it professionally done, maybe a more golden blonde with some lighter blonde highlights…
you could find a picture of how you would like your hair to look and show it to your hairdresser…

·         Answerer 2

go for a dark blone or a light brown.
not too different for your first time.
mine?

DO NOT for your hair will no longer be “great- very thick, soft, and break resistant”…. the dye will dry dry dry your hair out

Question  5

What are the chances of getting an allergic reaction to those hair DIY kits?

  • Obviously, I’m gonna do that 48 hour trial thingy on my wrist. But I dyed my eyelashes before and no allergic reaction there.

What is it that you could be allergic to? I’m using semi-permanent L’Oreal and there’s no ammonia – if that makes any difference.

I’ve dyed my hair at home probably about 100 times or more and I’ve never had a reaction. The worst I’ve had is it’s been a bit itchy on my scalp while the dye’s on my hair. But this obviously doesn’t mean it won’t happen to you.

I’ve also never done the patch test thingy which probably does make me stupid lol cause i guess i could one day have a reaction that could have been avoided so even tho I don’t do it I would definately make sure you do the test.

I’m guessing you wanna use the box u already bought now but if not you could always try henna dyes and stuff. I’ve not heard of people having reactions to henna dyes but if you look hard enough you’ll probably find someone who has lol.

According to Wikipedia its something called P-Phenylenediamine that people can have a reaction to and this can be found in both permanent or semi-permanent hair dyes.

If u want to know any more it tells you pretty much everything on here:

Oh and if u do fancy using henna they sell it in Lush

Hope this helps!

Question 6

Permanent mascara?

Someone said that you can dye your eyelashes, is that true? If not, can mascara be permanently done………yes or no?

Best Answer – Chosen by Asker

Actually yes, even if you don’t know it, your eyelashes fall out and are replaced every fourteen days. No you can not have permanent mascara applied to something that falls out. What you heard about may have been permanent eye liner, which is real and is actually just a very fine tattoo along the eyelid. The tattoo is intended to make lashes appear fuller and in doing so make your eyes seems bigger. However as with many tattoos on supple skin the ink often fades so even that is not permanent.

Question 7

What would suit me? Hair-dye-wise?

Well, i want to dye my hair, semi-permanent to begin with. I want to go a bit darker rather than lighter though. At the mo, I have mid-brown hair with layers, sometimes in the sun it bleaches to a gold or dark blonde colour which i HATE!!!! My eyes are green and I have really pale skin (seriously, even blusher looks bad on me because of it!). If it makes any difference to your answers, I always wear eyeliner and my eyelashes are long so my eyes stand out lots. Also, I don’t really have a style as such, it depends on my mood haha. I don’t want a hugely dramatic change  I wear blue clip in highlights a lot so something that would go with these would be lovely.

Sorry it was so long-winded thank you!

Question 10

I have ginger hair and want it dyed but what colour?

I have pale skin, freckles, and pale eyebrows and eyelashes i also want a colour that isn’t permanent because in case i don’t like it. Thanks

·         Answerer 1

make it brighter, so make it more orange/red/ginger

red heads shouldnt dye their hair unless its making more more red, their hair colour is amazing!

·         Answerer 2

nooo! please do not dye your hair. people are so jealous of red hair. if anything get some highlights and low lights because they’re less permanent and less binding and you also get to keep your color.
