• Hi ive found a place in Plymouth that does semi-permanent ones for £45 for 50 + lashes is this good value?

  And how much do permanent ones cost ? and where can you get them done?.

Yes, its a great value.
Everywhere else charges $200 & up.
You’ve found a great deal, but because
they are much cheaper than they normally
are, I’m not sure how good of quality they are.

Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions is it worth the cost?

I was considering getting Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions because my senior prom & military ball is approaching and I want to go for a Christina Aguilera throwback look.The $2 adhesives are sometimes messy, noticeable, falls off and requires reapplying.Apparently only foriegn countrys such as Hong Kong does the procedures for $40 compare 2 the U.S arm and a leg, so with that being said would Mexico salons do the procedures for a similiar price and where would I have to travel to? If not where in Houston I could get it done for a good price?

I paid $300 for eyelash extensions.. they look NATURAL (except really long). But they dont look vampy.. if you want vampy (dramatic) look.. then only way is by applying false eyelashes. Even the girl applying the eyelashes told me this. I want DRAMATIC =( Christina Throwback will NOT be achieved with extensions! The only good thing I can say is that they LAST.. but when they are falling off… I THINK some of my real eyelashes that are glued under the fake ones are also falling =) Dont do it!

my cousin did, and she told me it wasnt worth it , b/c when she finally took them off, her real eyelashes were halfway gone,(fell off) so now she wears like REALLY dark eyeliner

I never personally understood why people obsess over their eye lashes so much. Ok…really…ask a bunch of guys what they like about a woman’s face. 98% of them are not going to have an opinion on eyelashes are unless you ask. They are just eyelashes. You are beautiful the way you are. Don’t spend the money on something like that. Spend it on something useful

I’m not sure about that but.

unpermanant ones are like 35 dolllaars.
they fall off after 2 weeks.not the whole thing,
just like a few hair.

Hair Repair – what do all these mean?

• Background information: I use to be a swimmer, and now I work as an aquatic instructor. I spend about 4 days a week in chlorinated atmosphere and in the water. My hair is damaged, and it’s naturally thick and dry.

  I plan to treat myself to getting my hair done, but I don’t know what some of these mean or what they are. Help?

  What are “perms/relaxers”?
  What is “deep conditioning”?
  What is “hair repair”? (like what do they do? etc.)
  What is “highlift”?
  What’s the difference between “hilights” and “foils”?
  What is “color correction”?
  What is a “cut with colour service”?

  I was thinking of doing eyelash extensions as well and the salon I am looking at does partial for $20-30, and full for $35. Because I hear permanent eyelash extensions (last about a month right?) cost like over $60 so I’m assuming from the cost of these eyelash extensions, they will last for a day? And is it probably a bad idea to get them at all if I work at the pool? I have no eyelashes.

  I’m trying to pick between deep conditioning or hair repair by the sounds of it. Deep conditioning is $15 and hair repair $25. I don’t want to get something done but let the chlorine ruin it afterward, so something short term. I just want to make my hair feel nice for a change, even for a short period of time.

Perms/relaxers…
That is when your hair is retexturized from either straight to curl- Perm
Or Curly to straight-Relaxer
Deep conditioner…
That is when a conditioning treatment is applied to your hair, and heat is applied(Usually under a hair dryer)
The cuticle of your hair must be heated in order for conditioner to penetrate.
Hair repair…
Just a deep conditioner. There is no such thing as repairing hair that has been damaged. IE split ends. That can’t be fixed. they have to come off. So don’t fall for the “Hair Repair”
Highlift…
That is when your hair is taken from a dark color to a much lighter color.
Hilites and foils…
Hilites are done with foils. Or with a cap. or by brushing them in.
Foil hilites are a bit more time consuming and usually cost more.
Color correction…
That is when your hair color is messed up and needs to be fixed. can be very time consuming and expensive. Or can be fixed with one application. Depends on severity.
Cut with color service…
That is when you get a colr done with your hair cut. Simple as that.

I have bdd and anxiety/depression over my apperance I am 19 almost 20, and have had this since i was15/16. Had therapy cbt, therapists. doctors and im now on paroxetine.
I would now like to seea physical Change in how i look as i haven’t been able to recovery mentally.

How much will it cost ? :

My skin to be clear and healthy (dermatology ask my gp)
My hair to look nice, whatever girls do/go to make their hair nice (extensions, colour cut ?)
Permanent eyeliner.
Eyelash extensions either a family member learn to do them so it costs less or go to a salon ?.
Geta Natural TAN.
eyebrows shaped ? kept looking nice ?

The skin is so I don’t have to wear foundation , feel fresher without it.
eyelashes and eyeliner, so i don’t have to obssess over puttin it on mornings.
eyebrows/hair just normal girl things ?.
Tan maes me feel less insecure.
(I don’t wear eyeshadow, bronzer, blush lip liner and rarely mascara.
Usually i’ll wear eyeliner and a bit of blistex , maybe concealer )

- Skin Clearer – It always depends on what you have and how much of it (acne, rosecea, etc). but your Insurance should take care of it =)

-Hair – A cut with layers is usually $12 – $27, depending on where you go. Color is usually $80 – $150 depending if you want highlights. extensions are between $150 – $250 depending on the type of extensions (sewn in or glued)
- Permanent eyeliner a.k.a. Tattooed eyeliner is around $80 – $120
- Eyelash extensions are between $75 – $150 depending on the length and if you want it top and bottom.
-Natural Tan – is FREE if ur in the sun
-Eyebrow shaped – depending on wax or threaded it could cost between $7 – $12

I’m sorry about your depression, but yes studies have shown that after a small makeover people do feel a little better. When I mean a little its when people are never satisfied and want to get implants, botox and different surgeries for their body. I would seek a life coach if your still not happy

Any good eyelash extension places in los angeles?

I don’t want it permanent. I’m looking for a good price (no more than $20.) The last place I went to only cost $15 but the dye was so strong, it burned my eyes. I have very sensitive eyes so I’m looking for a professional that won’t cost an arm and leg.

there is a cool place by my house in downtown long beach. i dont know how much they are but someone told me they were cheep. i live on 7th and pacific. in downtown long beach.
