Are there an brands out there that make believable false
eyelashes(individual or full eye)?  I want a bit more length.  Something
believable though.  Anystore suggestions in New York?  What about Alcone?

Does anyone know where I can buy short false eyelashes?

I can only find the long or medium false eyelashes and wanted some short ones for a more subtle look?

mostly you’re jsut gonna have to look around. I’m sure there are some short ones out there
but really, false eyelashes are meant to be dramatic. If you want subtle, try some mascara.

I have REALLY short eyelashes, is there any mascara/false eyelashes that works well?

When I said short.. I mean so short that I can’t even curl them.
As if I don’t have any
With false eyelashes, are there certain ones that look natural?

Well i dont have lashes as short as yours, but i use Intense XXL Mascara. Its the bottle that has two ends. A white one and a black one. Once you put the white mascara on one eye, you can totally see the difference! Its amazing and my new favorite. Its so hard to find one mascara that works good for you! This one works wonders!

I have darkish blone or light brown eyelashes,and they are short.I heard of getting them dyed and getting implants to of false eyelashes.I would like to do one these which would you do or did you get it done? If anyone did what is it like?

First I would recommend using a lash primer like DuWop’s Lash Lacquer ($19) or a cheaper version such as L’Oreal’s Volume Shocking Mascara ($10). You apply the white base first, and then you apply the mascara end. The base thickens the lashes, and makes them appear much longer. The comb like end of the Volume Shocking mascara by L’Oreal really extends and thickens the lashes.

When applying mascara with a traditional mascara wand with bristles all the way around, wiggle the wand back and forth slightly while rotating it to get the best coverage all over the lash.

Also, before applying mascara, apply a dark black or brown liner (gel liner like L’Oreal HIP eyeliner pots or MAC Fluidlines) to your water line under the lashes, and use a black or brown pencil into the lashes. Don’t use too thick of a line though, it actually closes the eye off instead of making lashes appear longer and your eyes wider.

Extensions are not worth it. They cost quite a bit (usually under $100 for the cheap ones, which i dont recommend) and they are not implants, so they are not permanent. They are like getting hair extensions. Your lashes do grow, and fall out as others replace them, so the extensions will fall out.

I have really short eyelashes and I am interested in wearing false lashes for my wedding day next weekend. What were your experiences with them??? I will probably cry and be dancing so getting hot and just wondering if they will stay on through all of this

I do a lot of theater and have worn them for all the shows I’ve been in. Stage lighting and costumes are pretty hot and I’ve never had a problem.

False eyelashes look a lot more natural than they used to, so I think it’s a great idea if you have really short natural lashes!

My best advice is:

Go with ones of a moderate length, slightly longer than your natural ones (don’t go for the really super long ones or it will look silly).

Unless you plan on wearing dark eyeliner on your top lid, go with the clear glue, not the black.

Get two pair and practice a few times with one pair first. It takes a couple of tries to get them on straight.

Put them as close to the natural lash line as you can and go easy on the glue.

They should stay put all day.

I’m 15 and I have very short tangled eyelashes and I want to start wearing false ones but I’m worried I’m too young. They wont be huge eyelashes but I’m just wondering what will people think?

Yes I think you are. Try lash blast mascara in a small amount it will make them longer and more full

How to lengthen short eyelashes?

• I have really short eyelashes and i’ve tried many different mascara’s
  that were supposed to help, but never really did much.
  I don’t want to put in false eyelashes cause they’re weird.
  So I need to know is there any mascara that really works to lengthen short eyelashes, or if there’s any method i can use to help my eyelashes grow.

To make your eyelashes long, all you need is mascara and an eye lash curler.
You can put the mascara on before or after using the eyelash curler, it really doesn’t matter. I got my eyelash curler for about $7 dollars and it’s worth it.
Also, when putting on mascara, try starting at the roots to make sure you get all the lashes. You should apply two coats of mascara.
(The mascara I use is called VolumeExact by Cover Girl. It’s also waterproof. It works really well for me. I don’t know if it will work for you, but it couldn’t hurt to try.

For high school? I know how to make them look quite natural. I have insanely short eyelashes and it’s always bothered me. And is the little white strip that the lashes are attatched to visible when put on?

I would probably stick to wearing them on special occassions because it will give you an extra wow factor when you go out. But, if you are going to wear them every day, I definitely wouldn’t wear the ones with the white strip, they’re harder to keep on and yes the strip is usually visible if you don’t cover it with eyeshadow/liner. I reccommend using the individual lashes, the last longer and are MUCH more natural looking. You can put them exactly where you want them and use fewer to make them look more natural. They usually have a range of lengths too so you’ll be able to fill them in without looking over the top.

Can I wear false eyelashes everyday?Or should I just use them for special stuff?

My eyelashes are really short and I was thinking of using false eyelashes(the band kind because I am so new to this). I usually use masara and it looks OK,but cant i just use the falsies every day. Also when i do use them(occasion or everyday)how do i do it so it looks subtle and natural. Please tell me eveything i need to do and have.

I have really short curly eyelashes, and it’s hard to find a mascara that will give them volume, but mostly length. My eyelashes are so curly that i have to put like 7 coats of mascara on just to get them straight and long, i really need a mascara that works the best, but for a good price, or should i just wear false eyelashes?
