Does anyone know how to use sugar to make ice-like crystals on eyelashes?

My friend told me about it, but doesn’t know how it was done. It’s for a Halloween costume… thanks!

its all depending on where you want it ant the sugar you use.it would be better to use the cane sugar because its big and not your normal everyday sugar. if you get cane sugar and its not white you can always spray it white with the white halloween hair color or whatever else you think would be easiest. then choose your glue and put it on the eyelashes where ever you want the sugar (tip of them is best) then there you go frosty eyelashes.

Is tingling of eyelashes and eyes is a sign of high blood sugar?

I am a 43 year old, prediabetic or diabetic with a fasting blood sugar reading of 120 mg/dl. I often feel tingling in my eyelashes or around the eyes and usually my vision is not that clear throughout the day and gets a little worse in night.

I am unable to watch television for a long time even from a distance without my specks. Earlier I used use specks only while reading or working on computer.

I have been diagnosed with abnormal blood sugar only three months ago.

Does this mean that my sugar is above the normal range?? Is that the reason why my vision is not that clear and I feel tingling sensation in and around my eyes?? I am also extremely intolerant to bright lights including sun rays.

Please advise. I am scared

A fasting BG of 120 is pretty close to normal. Don’t know about your diagnosis; I’d get that double-checked.

The lack of tolerance to bright lights and unclear vision suggests to me that something has your eyes a little too open. I have no idea what that might be. see your doctor and / or your ophthalmologist.

Where can i buy sugar cosmetics? (specifically fake eyelashes) or something of the like?

i know they sell sugar cosmetics at sephora, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. or at least at the sephora store near where i live.

i really like their criss cross lashes, but since i can’t buy them at sephora, is there another place i can buy them that is NOT online? or do you know any other brands that criss cross and are similar to the sugar lashes? thanks so much

you could try Ulta, ive bought that brand of makeup from there, not sure about the fake eyelashes, but maybe?

this magazine is in england, im not sure if its available in other countries, if anyone knows the answer or the magic keyword, then thankyou sooo much, im so grateful, and if not, but have read this issue of sugar magazine, is it good? because the free gift is putting me off buying it, the gifts are usually amazing, but this seems a little shabby and i dont like false eyelashes!

Stupid eyelash curlers have snipped off my lashes, who do I complain to?

I got some eyelash curlers free with the recent issue of Sugar magazine, I’ve just used them and they have cut my eyelashes off.. not them all they’ve just trimmed half way but I look stupid.
I can’t find a phone number for their head office or anything. Can I complain to trading standards?

I’m in the Uk.

Plus any way I can make them look fuller?? My mascara just really clumps them.

Do you have the package it came in? Try to see if it has a brand or company name anywhere. Then look them up online. Or maybe contact that magazine and inquire about it- don’t complain to the magazine though.

When you apply mascara, you should wipe off the wand before applying it. That will take off excess that clump you lashes. Also try to use a small brush and apply in small sections pulling them upward. Also invest in a tiny eye lash comb. After you have your mascara on, jjust comb through your lashes to seperate them even more and comb out any clumps!

What are simple little ways to be nicer looking?

Like there are things i know. Like vaseline is good for your eyelashes. You can use a dry toothbrush and either use vaseline or watered down sugar and brush your lips. It exfoliates them and makes them super soft. Putting an egg and mayo or olive oil in your hair for a few hours makes your hair feel incredible. Is there any other secrets? Like particulary stuff for skin and keeping it glowing and clear? Im not sure of any that do that. Best answer to the person that gives me the most ideas and best info. Thanks!

Where can i buy a good quality “natural” looking fake eyelashes?

• i basically want something that won’t make me look like such a drama momma, so i don’t want it to be too long or be too bold. so no glitter, green colored lashes…etc. but length’s not too much of a problem, i could always trim it. basically i want it to look like i have mascara on, and mascara applied on well. (i’m not asking on how to put on mascara properly though).

yeah Sally sells these ones by Ardell the name is called Babies and their a full strip not individuals. they are about 4 bucks and look really natural, especially on girls with small set eyes. I’m going as a Sugar plum fairy for halloween.. how can i do my hair and make-up?

The color of my costume is a got pink, light pink or maybe white..
It is short (going to freeze my butt off) and the top part looks like a corset and in the back it has lace zig zaging from where the dress starts (mid back) to above my butt…
What are some good ways i can do my makeup and hair?
I’m wearing a pair of them fake eyelashes so do i need to put the eyeshadow on first then the eye lashes?
I’m 14 so i want it to look Cute!

The costume sounds awesome!
Um hair, maybe in two french plaits.. or out in some loose curls, with the front pinned back or something? And, yea, apply the eyeshadow first, maybe a pink that matches the dress with black eyeliner and glitter under the brow… a light blush, or cheek stain will look really cute on the apples of your cheeks… and a fairly bright lipstick with lotsa gloss? Im sure you will look great! Have fun

Is wearing false lashes regularly bad?

I’m buying false lashes because my lashes are very short and mascara doesn’t work very well for me. Is there any cons to wearing false lashes regularly? I don’t want to lose a lot of eyelashes from this and look terrible without makeup. :X Note: I’m gonna try Sugar Cosmetics dazzle and criss cross lashes. Thanks.

i think it’s kinda bad cuz of the glue. i only wear false eyelash to parties so i always buy really outrageous ones like the one from shu uemura
