Would you buy this product again?

Question 1 Would you buy this product again?

General Comments on this product: This stuff is absolutely amazing.. and I’m surprised no one has reviewed this yet. I’ve been using this twice a day for the past month and it truly does work. When I started I had short/medium lashes in 1-2 rows. Now, my lashes are slightly longer (not noticeably thicker) and in 4-5 rows!!! In fact I find I’m growing lashes beyond my original lashline! Before I would shed 1-2 lashes a day.. and now I find I’m only losing about 1-4 a week!

To apply, I stroke the top of the lashes and the bottom, as if I’m applying mascara. Then, I run the tip of the spoolie back and forth against my lashline 1-2 times (yes smooshing the lashes together back and forth) and restroke one time. The first few times this DID sting slightly, but this is the only way I can assure myself I’m getting it into my lashline. Since then it has been fine. I apply before bed and before I apply my makeup. I find I can use it before I curl my lashes (if I let it dry) and it will hold the curl quite well.

This comes in a 4.2 and a 10mL format at quite a steep price ($60 can for the 10mL) I’d recommend buying the 10mL since you’ll use it daily. I bought mine off of ebay for about $30. I was uneasy at first since it may be counterfeit.. but I found it to be the legitimate product (and hey it worked!)

General Comments on this product: This stuff helped me soo much! I used to abuse my eyelashes which resulted in me losing them like crazy and having gaps with no lashes at all. I went to Sephora and found this product thinking it would help a little. Oh My Gosh! this product made my lashes grow so fast, they are long and thick and everyone thinks they are false lashes.

I highly recommend this product!

Question 2   What should i do if my eyelashes are falling out? Thanks for responding to me, but i have had eyelashes all my life even with the alopeica. I have been to the dermotlogist in the past and all they gave me was some kind of steriod cream to put on my head. I do understand that maybe my hair will never grow back and that i have no eyebrows but my eyelashes! I have eyelashes on the end of my left eye and maybe a couple in the middle and not so much on the corner. I have never used any kind of mascara in my life so i really don’t know. So far i have been putting the Talika eyelash conditioner from sephora hoping it will help. I’m too old to lose my eyelashes. I’ve had to deal with this for a long time.. I don’t want to be just a face. Once again any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

Babe!! this goes along with the alopecia!! it is a hair on your bod!!

You can get some false eyelashes applied so that you can sort of protect your eyes from dust and stuff.

I know it isn’t fair! But who ever said anything in nature was fair anyway?

Be sure to go to a really reputable salon to have them applied

Question 3 :

So, I’m going to buy an eyelash conditioner…?

I have 2 in mind, they are both similar in price. First, is the Talika one, which is £12.50 for 4.2ml (the same amount as a normal mascara) or £20 for the 10ml; there is also Model Co’s Lash + Brow Growth Stimulator, which is £18 – but I don’t know how many mils it is… does anyone know?

Also, does anyone know of any US websites that sell eyelash conditioners and ship to the UK (price max $40 – for the item, obviously… not shipping, that would be daft!)?

Oh, and if anyone has actually tried any of the items noted above, were they worth it?

Thanks in advance!

Best Answer :
Sorry never heard of eyelash conditioner..

Talika Eyelash Lipocils (I’m sure you can use it on brows)

If you know of any other products, please do share! =)

Best Answer:
try the global goddess coconut alma lash and brow conditioner if youre gonna try anything..i havent tried any of the other ones.. but ggcalbc has worked for me.it made my lashes way thicker! i never tried it on my eyebrows though.

Question 5 :

Best eyelash growth product? Lipocils?

Anyone have any suggestions or comments about lash conditioners/growers?
I have really short lashes, but they aren’t very thick either. So thickening at least would be a good start.

I’ve heard lots of mixed opinions about Talika Lipocils.
Is there anything cheaper? Is it worth $40?

Before and after pics from people who have used it would be nice :)

Best Answer :
like the first answerer says: vasaline! it works like a charm trust me. every night line your top lashes with a small amount of vasaline, and use an old (cleaned!!!) mascara wand to apply some more to your actual lashes, like mascara. you should see results in 1-2 weeks. good luck =]

Question 6 : I’ve been using an eyelash conditioner that Talika makes.  But it’s very
expensive and I can only find it online.  Does anyone know of a similar product
that costs less?
Best Answer : Water, carbomer, lecithin, hypericum extract, apple extract, witch hazel
extract, horse chestnut extract, nettle extract, lactic acid, allantoin, sodium
lactate, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben,
butylparaben
Hypericum is St. John’s Wort. Liquid lecithin is available at any health food
store and is quite cheap. Carbomer is a thickener with no therapeutic
properties, I think.
Question 7 :  Anyone tried Talika lash stuff?

 Best Answer: yes, it works!

Question 8 : Talika eyelash stuff update?
I bought an eyelash growth encourager from Bliss last year.  Can’t remember
the brand.  Remember that I loved it when I used it, but too much trouble
and it sat in the drawer.  Was one of the things that got tossed in the Fall
clean out last night.
Best Answer : It’s either winter or ‘wither’, primed or pruned, slather up or
shrivel.
Question 9 : Talika Lipocils Eyelash Treatment Gel
Anyone had used this product? I saw this was raved, and I want to make my eyelash longer…Will it really work?

And what about Talika Eyelash Conditioning Cream?

Best Answer : Ke Jiang, there’re a lot of posts on this product.

You can check out the Revitalash thread that I started in this forum. Avalange posted her pics from using Talika on pg 9 of the thread.

For me, it worked to make my lashes 1/4 longer than before and a bit thicker. When you stopped using it, your lashes went back to normal.

You won’t see any major length from it. Avalange started out with much longer lashes than mine and yours. (I saw your pics.)

I’m using RL and am waiting to try Carekate’s Lush Lash serum when it becomes available. SOME (not all) of my lashes have doubled in length. I think you can see my pics on that same page. Some of them are still not growing at all. Maybe they’re dormant.

Question 10 : Talika Eyelash Extender – Has anyone used?   I recently bought Talika eyelash extension, one that contains few free particles (fiber) and you apply two coats of mascara. Has anyone had an experience that could give me advice that I find it really obvious utiliser.Comme particles are not “black hair” I find that if I pay attention, much of it falls on my face during application and then they are difficult to remove. So I end up looking like I have hair on my face in several places. Even if I delete them one by one, I found that during the day, they get my cils.Il is not a good product in the sense that it does make your lashes thick and long regard.Merci for any help.

Best Answer : I’ve also heard great things about Lilash (this is the best) and before and after pictures, it would be a good investissement.J ‘uses the Loreal mascara tube (very cheap) and it always seems as I have false eyelashes on.
