Question 2

What should i do if my eyelashes are falling out?

Thanks for responding to me, but i have had eyelashes all my life even with the alopeica. I have been to the dermotlogist in the past and all they gave me was some kind of steriod cream to put on my head. I do understand that maybe my hair will never grow back and that i have no eyebrows but my eyelashes! I have eyelashes on the end of my left eye and maybe a couple in the middle and not so much on the corner. I have never used any kind of mascara in my life so i really don’t know. So far i have been putting the Talika eyelash conditioner from sephora hoping it will help. I’m too old to lose my eyelashes. I’ve had to deal with this for a long time.. I don’t want to be just a face. Once again any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

Answer

Babe!! this goes along with the alopecia!! it is a hair on your bod!! You can get some false eyelashes applied so that you can sort of protect your eyes from dust and stuff. I know it isn’t fair! But who ever said anything in nature was fair anyway? Be sure to go to a really reputable salon to have them applied

Question 3

Any products to help grow eyebrows back in?

I’ve heard of some products, a brand called Talika (I think), that claim to regrow eyebrows even if you’ve been plucking for years. It’s basically a cream you rub into your eyebrows once or twice a day, and it contains ingredients that stimulate growth. They have a similar product for eyelashes. Do these really work?

Additional Details

I’ve tried eyebrow pencils, but they always end up looking so fake, and I can’t really find a color that matches my natural brows. Plus, I have a natural tremor in my hands so I’m often shaky and I can’t apply lipstick, eyeliner, or a brow pencil without messing it up. It’s almost not worth it, but I really hate my over-plucked brows.

  • I don’t really know of any, but you could use eyebrow color that matches your natural ones.

yes but it will not be very effective on DEAD hair follicles, if there’s sparse hair it will help hair grow back evenly. it will take alot of time though, as it’s not an easy process.
but it’s likely plucking your eyebrows too much have just damaged the follicles, and leaving them alone for a while will help it go back to normal

in 3rd grade i had a little fun with tweezers…my eyebrows were basically 3 hairs thick and it took years to stop getting out of the habit of overplucking them. now they’re completely fine
