Question 2
Where would put on fake eyeleashed for you?
For my costume for Halloween I would like fake lashes put on but not the glittery fake thick ones you can get with your costume. I was going to buy some from a salon with the eyelash glue and have a professional do it or buy them from the place I would go to. I want them to be long and full but not, in your face, fake. Any ideas what place does this??? If it helps I live in Denver Colorado! P.S. And I don’t mean the permanent or long lasting eyelash extensions, just something to last for the party or whatever.

Buy them at wal mart. size them first on your eye lid without make up, they should be shorter than your lid across, trim to fit. Apply black eyeliner to your upper lid, this will hide where the fake lash ends and the real ones begin. Then hold a bead of glue out of the tube and drag the lashes across it, only a thin line is nessasary. Have a pair of tweezers ready, as you’ll need to possion the lashes as close to your real lashes as possible. The glue dries clear. Takes about 30 seconds to get tacky and 1 min to fully dry. Practice makes perfect.

Consumer Protection Board Discovers Formaldehyde in Eye Lash Adhesive
JULY 13, 2005
The procedure called extending eyelashes? is popular these days among young women. It has been found, however, that the adhesives used to extend eye lashes contain a great amount of formaldehyde, which is harmful to one’s health.
The Korea Consumer Protection Board said on July 12 that it examined the amount of toxic substances in 23 kinds of adhesives currently in circulation to extend eye lashes, make double eyelids, and add false eye lashes and found that formaldehyde was contained in all 10 kinds of adhesives used to extend eyelashes and one kind used to add false eye lashes.
Even in a low concentration of about 30 ppm, formaldehyde can cause contact dermatitis to people with sensitive skin. In the adhesives for extending eye lashes and adding false eyelashes, 1,800 to 20,000 ppm of formaldehyde was found.
The extension of eye lashes? procedure is designed to make eye lashes look thick by adding false eye lashes or natural eye lashes, and the procedure is usually done in beauty parlors of cosmetics shops.
The Korea Consumer Protection Board said among 16 reported cases with regard to the adhesives for adding eye lashes during the first half of this year that there were cases in which the procedure caused inflammation in the cornea.
Kim Jeong-ho, director of the food and drug safety department of the Korea Consumer Protection Board, said, consumers of the adhesives for adding eye lashes should choose products with safety test marks.
Am not taking you serious on all this transparent glue for gluing strong stuff? that would be crazy!

Question 6
I need your opinon…?
my hair is unbelievably thin, but it’s not really that short… it goes a couple inches down my shoulders. it’s fried and has alot of split ends.
therefore, i want extensions. i plan to dye my hair black, like it was previously, and get long black extensions. i’ve had it before, a year ago, but my looks changed. they were clip-in’s, and they were a pain to put in.
i want real hair, or atleast hair that looks & FEELS real. everybody tells me that glue-in’s are a b****. i need your opinon, method, and a price ?? and where i can get them? and possibly the cheapest method.
alsoo, with fake eyelashes; i dont’ want to buy a pair for 7$ at walgreens because i heard they fall off. i want them professional. does anybody know how long they last & cost?
and one last thing… my shoulders/body is VERY dark, but my face is pale. it’s because i wear facial makeup but my face is horrible/red without it. how much is a fake tan or should i just go to the pool everyday without makeup?

Well, I cant answer all of your questions but I can say that extensions range from price to price depending on how many inches they are. also, your hair seems damaged a lot all ready so my advice is to not dye it and just leave it at its natural color and get your natural color of extensions. Dying hair is harsh on your hair and your hair seems really damaged already.
Question 7
How to make my own hair extension business?
[RE ASKING IN HAIR CATEGORY- because i’m unsure whether people in the Business category will know much about making hair or makeup products) Basically i want to start off with HUMAN clip in hair extensions, and then i want to basically expand my company to have things like makeup brushes and makeup and fake eyelashes and things, once i begin selling enough and getting a good enough profit.
I’m 16 and i’m really passionate about doing this, I don’t have much money at the moment but i have money coming to me in the future, so i can invest that in my business and making a website and buying the hair and things.
What i’m curious about is where do i get the hair and how to i make the extensions, or do i hire somebody and tell them about what exactly i want?
I dunno i’m just looking for tips, my main interest is in having a “beauty” website, Not too expensive, so younger people could afford my products, And if i’m getting the hair off of a person i will go out of my way to make sure they get a GOOD pay for it, I’m not very educated on this subject, and i’m not expecting to wake up in 2 weeks with a blooming business i am aware these things take lots of time and hard work and i’m very determined
Do i need to go to college to learn how to make makeup, or will their be someone that i hire to make it etc..

first you need to open up a shop. i guess a websites fine tho. then you need to actually learn to make the extensions or import them or atleast buy them from some where. same with make up and other stuff. research it and get in contact with people who make all that stuff. then you have to sell them. those people who sold the products to youuu though have to get paid off the money you make in your buisness. so you might want to start out with some money to pay them in the first place…..understand??? is that too confusing. sorry. but hope iti helps
