i really like taylor swifts eye makeup in her white horse video. If anyone could recommend eyelashes that look like that, thick lashes but not super crazy ones, that’d be great!

there are a lot of nail salons that acutally do fake eyelashes for you! if you really want them to look professional, i’d pay the extra money to do this. however, you could just go to ulta or sephora or any cosmetic type place or heck even just walmart and buy the ones you want and attempt to glue them on yourself!

Is it weird to wear false eyelashes for everyday?

For high school? I know how to make them look quite natural. I have insanely short eyelashes and it’s always bothered me. And is the little white strip that the lashes are attatched to visible when put on?

and I do wear mascara and curl my lashes. But it’s still very very sparse and short. (I use lashblast or colassal in waterproof)

I would probably stick to wearing them on special occassions because it will give you an extra wow factor when you go out. But, if you are going to wear them every day, I definitely wouldn’t wear the ones with the white strip, they’re harder to keep on and yes the strip is usually visible if you don’t cover it with eyeshadow/liner. I reccommend using the individual lashes, the last longer and are MUCH more natural looking. You can put them exactly where you want them and use fewer to make them look more natural. They usually have a range of lengths too so you’ll be able to fill them in without looking over the top.

Can I use Elmer’s glue on false eyelashes!?

I am completely out of false eyelash adhesive, but I really wanted to wear them tomorrow for Valentine’s day. Is it safe to use a very small amount of Elmer’s white glue? I don’t want my real eyelashes falling off though.

No you should not! I am a make up artist and the best solution is to go to a local drug store such as Walgreen’s, cvs, eckerds etc and purchase more eyelash adhesive, the only other thing I recommend that you can use is hair glue which is used in hair weaves which can be bought at stores like sally’s beauty supply or other beauty supply stores for cheap. Trust me honey your better off just making a quick trip to the store. The Elmer’s glue is not strong enough to hold false lashes one bat of the eye and your embarrassed for the rest of the night and God forbid you receive a gift that makes you cry then your really in trouble. I love eyelure false lashes, but I find they have a white seam line on them. I wear them with eyeliner and try and cover it but I wondered if anyone knew of a better brand. Thanks Grace

get a lash glue that is dark.

or draw eyeliner on the lashes before applying lol

also try the individual lashes. they are much more natural looking.

I have blue eyes and currently have brown hair and fair skin.

I will be wearing the false eyelashes for a night out so therefore will b wantin my eyeshadow to b more noticeable than my everyday colours i wear.

hey there girl friend, ok with fake lashes its all about being dramatic, if you are fair and want your eyes to stand out its best not to wear lashes and lots of colour it can look a bit drag if your not an expert at application and shape, so instead try defining your eye, its a very sexy look that will set your eyes off if they are light and you have dark hair, that means plenty of mascara, line the upper lid from the corner of the inner part of the eye all the way to the outer edge try lining the eye a little further then the end to make your eyes look longer and slightly asian looking, then line the out edge of the bottom lid and smear to give a smoky affect, apply black eye liner in the rim of the bottom lid… it will really give you a sexy WOW affect, then apply a peachy blush, and a really shiny either light peach or light pinky clear gloss… you will look great… hope i helped

I’ve found that Lash Stylist from Maybelline is SUPERB for getting a really dramatic lashes, especially in the black color. I know EVERYONE on here is going to say Lash Blast, and yeah it’s good, but it truly isn’t THAT wonderful. For a more expenisive option, try Dior Show also. Maybelline also just came out with a mascara that’s supposed to look like false lashes. It’s called XXL Extensions XX-Treme Microfiber Mascara. Hope I helped!

Yeah, often it takes a while to dry, and it will dry clear! However, when applying lashes, squeeze a bit of the glue on the back of your hand or something first, and just gently swipe the lash line across it – you don’t need too much glue, just make sure you’ve got the line covered Putting the glue directly onto the lashes will just be too much!

What can I add to my Witch Fancy dress outfit?

I’m going to a party and have decided I am going as a witch…boring I know but I am skint and have no imagination. I am wearing a black dress/tunic with black leggings and I have a black wig, black lipstick and black witches hat. I am getting a broom from Tesco as they are only £0.60 but I feel my outfit is a bit boring. What can I do to make it better. I am a size 22 so I obviously I don’t want to go for the whole sexy thing. I was wondering if I should paint my face white, false eyelashes, fake blood – I know its more vampirey but I wanna be a bit different! I don’t want to spend much money as I am skint. I don’t have much imagination when it comes to things like this and really require someones help!

Maybe paint yuor face green with blood coming out of your mouth maybe color your teeth black, make a fake mole on your nose, tease your hair alot make it look a dirty and ratty, Instead of black legging why don’t you were black and white stiped leggins.

Paint your face green! Mix the black lipstick with a red, to make a more realistic and flattering dark shade. False eyelashes are good. How about getting some of that fake spiderweb stuff, and either pin it up in your wig, or very carefully make a shawl out of it? Or a veil for your hat?

Instead of black leggings, try neon one or striped ones. Don’t wear the black lipstick; try to get a dark blue or purple. Get a black mascara and brush a little into the hollow under your eyes, and make a design around your eye with some eyeliner.
